To improve extension services, on Jan 20, 2018, HM @AuduOgbeh launched the National Farmers’ Helpline Centre at the Institute for Agric Research, IAR, Zaria; and flagged off distribution of Motorcycles to Extension Agents in the 37 ADPs nationwide to ease mobility. #GovtAtWorkNG
May 10, 2018: HM @AuduOgbeh launched the S.M.A.R.T Model Farm mechanization, a PPP of FG, @JohnDeere & NAMEL. The tech-smart mech extension prog has capacity to increase productivity by 300% and will provide easier access to mechanization for smallholder farmers #GovtAtWorkNG
Youth Empowerment: In March, 2018, The @YouthFarmLab, an Initiative of the Federal Ministry of Agriculture & @SynergosSPA , kicked off to train Nigerian youths between the ages of 18 and 35 on livestock production & sustainable urban agriculture. #GovtAtWorkNG #YouthInAgriculture
