FAKE LOVE extended version tells us more about the emotional depth of each character, and the emotional change while transitioning to adulthood by going through a certain darker phase.

The extended version gives us a wider perspective of the cause of their heartbreaks, and the want of shutting off #fake_love

The first phase is in wings, blood sweat and tears that tells us about youth's temptation. They got into DNA, a phase of youth's childish love. After that, they got into a much mature phase, which was told in fake love. Coming of age story, get it?

Seokjin usually open curtains. But here, he who fears situations that are out of his control, shuts the curtains one by one. The door, the room, and even put the smeraldo flower in a safe place. He wanted to protect himself #fake_love

He protecs the smeraldo flower since it also resembles the event connected to the girl in highlight reel before she died. He wanted to give the girl just that, but she died right in front of his eyes. The flower was his last memory of her that he wanted to protect #FAKE_LOVE

The flower also means 'the truth untold'. Which is in one of their tracklist. What's the truth? the fact that they cant show them their real selves, and give themselves.

Waterfall means 'purity'. This could be an entrance of another phase after fake love. It could be an entrance that leads us to LOVE YOURSELF: ANSWER, where "answers" will be revealed #FAKE_LOVE

Like I said before, fake love was another phase after the 'DNA' phase. Where youth thinks that love is perfect, enjoying the pleasure and the temptation that was potrayed on blood sweat and tears, not even knowing that there are other sides of it, the other sides of love.

Cloaks are talismans and protection from harm, keeping one safe and secure throughout 'transitions'. The masks symbolises hidden identities. Black cloaks also represents death. NOBODY DIED, but what died? their true selves

THE MASKS they were all wearing is venetian masks called the larva or in other words, the volto. The word "larva" means mask and ghost / spirit. Going back, the masks goes well with the black cloaks since the cloaks are also talismans of spiritual journeys #FAKE_LOVE

JUNGKOOK has always been the last on going through phases, its probably because he's the youngest. The place is a desert, desert also symbolises obstacles and hardships between people and their dreams. The hardships of their relationships can be seen in the hyyh notes #FAKE_LOVE

Pathway from dna phase, and pathway out from the fake love phase towards the waterfall of 'truth', entering the 'LY: ANSWER phase'. But they never made it out, because of the gigantic rock that fell in front of them #FAKE_LOVE

I got tagged to some theories that says the phase of fake love is actually inside the key box of Jungkook's. Unfortunately, i DONT agree with that. It makes more sense that it was a phase after the dna phase.

Ending of euphoria prologue it says "형, 그게 다예요? 우리한테 숨기는 거 더 있지 않아요?" which means - "Hyung, is that all? Is there something else youre hiding from me?". I said it before, Jin has high protective tendencies, especially to Jungkook, the youngest #FAKE_LOVE

Everyone has their fear room, and Jungkook has one too. It was Seokjin's room after chaos. There it was seen six empty coat racks that represents six of his hyungs. Six empty coat racks that represents a possible 6 empty memories after the accident #FAKE_LOVE

At the end of the MV we can see clearly that the seven of them are trying to go to the next phase. They couldn't, not with that mask - wanting to hid themselves (thats why the rock went down). Jungkook and Yoongi both kneeled down - we will get the answer why on LY:ANSWER
