Because THIS guy draws another false equivalence between the torrent of lies he spun selling the #IranDeal and Trump’s meetings that resulted in nothing similar, I’m compelled to call him out in vivid detail as I did in 2015 with this thread for the record 👇🏼

We should recall that in 2015, there was a sizable disagreement between the garbage Ben Rhode's and his #EchoChamber were selling, what Europe was saying, and what #Iran said happened.

The Obama White House lies didn't even begin with the 2015 #JCPOA. Remember what happened with the #JPOA rollout in 2013?

Back then the lie was that the agreement reached with #Iran in 2013 "halts the progress of Iran's nuclear program." Ben Rhodes and Co even held background briefings to lie even further.

But as Ben Rhodes knew, the agreement in 2013 did no such thing. On the contrary, in nearly every single aspect of the JPOA, the Obama White House lied. Name the provision; a White House lie accompanied it.

By 2015, Ben Rhodes and Co were well practiced in lying about the #IranDeal. It began immediately when they couldn't even get the EU onboard with the administration's lies about the timing of sanctions relief for #Iran. Khameini even Twitter-trolled the White House on this point.

In 2013, the White House lied about #Iran's ability to construct at its Arak plutonium reactor.

One of my personal favorite Ben Rhodes lie was in 2013 when his NSC said an Iranian ballistic missile test would “be in violation of the agreement” and cause the deal to “cease to exist.”

Of course, that didn't happen and days later, Iran announced it would launch yet another ballistic missile some 75 miles into the earth’s atmosphere. en.farsnews.com/newstext.aspx?…

Being caught in such a boldfaced lie might be embarrassing but not if you're Ben Rhodes. @Kredo0 broke the story in 2013 for @FreeBeacon where we discovered the ballistic missile statement by the WH was just another lie. So the WH attacked the press. freebeacon.com/national-secur…

Of course, that was before we all realized that the ENTIRE ballistic missile aspect of the #IranDeal didn't exist at all whatsoever by 2015.

Yet, even more incredible was in 2015 where the Obama White House admitted to the New York Times that they were lying about deal, and #Iran was in on the White House con against the American people. mobile.nytimes.com/2015/04/05/wor…

And all of these lies Ben Rhodes told occurred within a lie sandwich in which Obama originally promised one kind of deal and then brought back a lemon to season with even more lies. And each time, #Iran was right about the deal.

So no, Ben Rhodes, the snake oil you and your team sold the American people while boosting #Iran throughout the region is not the same thing as Trump or Pompeo's private meetings with world leaders.
