From 2019, it will be integrated in digital tachographs of lorries to ensure the respect of driving time rules and improve #RoadSafety.

The EU's satellite navigation programme will help farmers in many ways, such as monitoring what is happening on the ground, measuring their field or making the most of virtual fencing for livestock. #EUspace
The high quality time synchronisation provided by #Galileo can make energy transmission and distribution more efficient, helping pave the way for a #CleanEnergy future.
In cooperation with @CopernicusEU, #Galileo already helps save lives at sea.
It will also improve our response to natural disasters such as earthquakes, hurricanes, forest fires or floods. #EUspace
