Asked about Ivanka's characterization of family separation as "a low point," Sanders says Trump himself "doesn't like the idea of family separation."

(Trump needlessly implemented a family separation policy! #gaslighting)

Sanders then attacks the media.

Sanders, echoing Trump, claims "we know there were others" involved in 2016 election interference besides Russia. She declines to provide details.

Her statement contradicts the intelligence community's finding that Russia and Russia alone interfered in the election.

On topic of nationwide voter ID (which Trump has spoken in support of this week), Sanders compares voting to returning an item to a department store

Sanders accuses @Acosta of "lowering the level of conversation in the country." She then whines about how she's been the victim of harsh coverage and "verbal assaults."

Sanders repeatedly refuses to confirm that she does not view the press as "the enemy of the people.'

Here's extended video of @Acosta confronting @PressSec about President Trump's dangerous any-free press rhetoric

Sarah Sanders escalates Trump's attacks on the free press thinkprogress.org/sarah-sanders-…

The answer is very straightforward. @PressSec made very clear today that both she & President Trump believe exactly what he’s repeatedly said, which is that free press is “enemy of the people.” We shouldn’t sugarcoat it or pretend they believe otherwise.

.@PressSec didn’t make any distinctions at all!
