Finding new ways to manipulate and control public opinion to win elections is one of the primary areas of research in the quest to retain or regain power. Sadly, agitating racial tensions is a common go to with little consideration given to its impact on society.
While Facebook and Twitter have long denied censoring conservatives despite numerous examples to the contrary, censorship directed at conservatives has justified by reports of Russian election meddling and fake news reports.
The problem with the left’s hysteria alleging that Twitter is overrun by white conservative Nazis who harass minorities and gays, is that Twitter’s demographic data doesn’t support it. According to Pew, U.S. Twitter users are predominately liberal Blacks & Hispanics, ages 18-24.
Given Pew stats, Twitter’s Russian trolls, & hate speech violators are not, predominately, U.S. white conservatives often deemed racist. Yet, Twitter Jack Dorsey, VP Del Harvey, & their 40+ progressive activist orgs censor the 20% white users some of whom acct for white libs too?
The 40 activist orgs. who work w/ VP of trust & safety, Del Harvey, to judge whether your conversations are healthy. Leftist's cries to eradicate racists from Twitter's platform are working hard to protect the demographic who are young lib minorities but the 'are' the majority.
Phil Keisling, at Portland State U's Hatfield School of Govt, reports that the median Trump voter age was 52 yrs old. If US Twitter's majority is Black/Latino age 18-24 are users outside the US their real harassers & not white cons they falsely call Nazis? .@POTUS
A common excuse fed by leftists, FB, Twitter, & MSM hysteria to justify harassing conservatives is to allege that they are Russian bots. Pew determined they tend not to tweet politics.

It would seem that all who claim they want to improve Twitter's health to create a safer, less toxic enviro would first want to accurately identify the source. Blaming the wrong party only serves to increase racial tension and polarization unnecessarily.
