In an unusual twist, Trump enters to country music

Though he was laughed at by the UN, Trump gaslights his supporters, says, "I just left the United Nations, believe me, they all respect us again."

TRUMP smears Democrats: "Democrats. You see it happening right now. [Crowd boos] They are determined to take back power by using any means necessary. You see the meanness, the nastiness - they do not care who they hurt, who they have to run over in order to get power and control"

Trump mimics and mocks Diane Feinstein, portraying her as confused, and makes clear he's going to try to spin the Kavanaugh scandal to make false attacks on Democrats for "leaking" information about the multiple accusation against the judge

Wow -- Trump effusively praises Kavanaugh's testimony: "On Thursday, the American people saw the brilliant and really incredible character, quality and courage of our nominee for the United States Supreme Court, Judge Brett Kavanaugh."

Trump casually accuses the media of fabricating polls.

"They make them bad so you go to a movie instead of voting."

Huge boos from the crowd toward the press.

TRUMP: "Honestly, the Democrats are a disgrace. And the number one enabler of the Democrats is the fake news media, right back there."

Crowd responds with boos and "CNN sucks!" chants.

Within 60 seconds, Trump calls the media "the enemy of the people" and uses a racist slur against Elizabeth Warren, calling her "Pocahontas"

Trump says this about veteran @Ojeda4congress, who is running for Congress as a Democrat: "A total wacko, no, I've seen this person. You can't have that person in Congress but that person is stone cold crazy."

"Lock her up!" chants at the first mention of Hillary Clinton's name

.@MorriseyWV goes all in on smearing Joe Manchin, claims Manchin supported Hillary Clinton even "after she made clear she wanted to take away our coal."

TRUMP: "A Democrat-controlled Senate will try to take away your 2nd amendment. They want to take over healthcare & destroy it. They want to make us Venezuela. That's what they want to do. You will have Venezuela, big version. Erase America's borders."

Trump is hopelessly unable to talk about health policy in any detail. He seems to think "health care" is something you just give people, like candy.

Trump smears Democrats like they're invaders who are going to pillage America: "The Democrat party will stop at nothing to run your lives, run down your values, and ransack our nation's wealth."

TRUMP smears Democrats with assertions that are the opposite of true: "It's the party of crime is what it is... Democrats want to raid Medicare and destroy Social Security." #WarIsPeace

Trump, who has worked tirelessly to strip legal protections from people with preexisting conditions, says "I will always fight for and always protect patients with preexisting conditions... all of the Republicans are coming into that position now."

Trump ridiculously claims GDP growth would've been "4.2 percent negative" if Hillary won the election, then falsely claims Democrats "want to abolish immigration enforcement entirely" and "want no borders."

Trump claims that thanks to undocumented immigrants, towns on Long Island are "like a fort" and that ICE "goes in like they are liberating a country." He then offers gore porn about MS-13 and claims they mutilate kids.

Trump can't understand why anybody wouldn't want to give the policy military gear, including armored vehicles

TRUMP on SAUDI ARABIA: "I love Saudi Arabia. They are great."

But then indicates he's tired of "subsidizing" the Saudi armed forces.

"Why are we subsidizing their military?"

Trump baselessly claims that before he was elected, "we were going to war with North Korea. That is what was going to happen. Millions of people would have been killed. President Obama told me when I sat just before taking office."

Trump on Kim Jong Un: "I like him, he likes me. I guess that's okay. Am I allowed to say that?"

Trump says this -- earnestly! -- about Kim Jong Un: "We went back and forth, then we fell in love. He wrote me beautiful letters. And they are great letters. We fell in love."

Trump lists @kanyewest as an African American supporter of his.

"We have Kanye West, we have a lot of support. Big Jim Brown. How about big Jim Brown? How good was he? If he was playing today, he would make a trillion dollars. And he would stand for the flag, too, I tell you."

Trump accuses Democrats of not reading!

Trump falsely claims new steel plants are being built "all over the country" thanks to his tariffs.

US Steel has announced exactly 0 new plants.

Trump, ranting: "The steel people love me. The coal people love me. Many people love me. You know who loves me? Our country has never done better. That's who loves me."

Trump falsely claims he "just signed legislation to completely, completely rebuild all of our military." Then says, "At my direction the Pentagon is working right now as we speak to create a 6th branch of the United States Armed Forces called the Space Force. Right? Space Force."

Trump seems to catch himself before he says "nationalism."

"We reject the ideology of globalism. And we embrace the doctrine -- you know what I'm saying -- the doctrine of -- let's put it this way, we love our country. That's our doctrine. You can call it patriotism."

As he wraps up his speech, Trump refers to members of the media as "people," but it seems like he was searching for another, more derogatory word.

Fox News' big takeaway from the speech is touting Trump's baseless attack on @SenFeinstein for "leaking" Dr Ford's letter detailing her assault allegation against Brett Kavanaugh.

This is the talking point Republicans will use this week to deflect criticism from K's behavior.
