1) I just went through this entire article looking for how she is a "right-wing troll" and I'm struggling to find why her very basic conservative political beliefs are worthy of a story other than she doesn't think The Daily Beast wants her to think.

(thread)

2) The article literally opens by admitting that she doesn't have political beliefs that are popular in Hollywood, like Alyssa Milano, George Clooney, and Danny DeVito. (I wonder why.... maybe because they get shamed into silence by publications like this)

3) The Daily Beast labels a tweet of Swanson's "far-right" where she asks why "illegal alien" is racist and offensive. Spoiler alert: this isn't far right.

4) They criticize her for wearing a shirt that says "Make America Not A Bunch of Whiny Bitches Again" and ironically The Daily Beast (whiny bitches in this case) whine about it and link it to the "far-right."

5) They go on to criticize her for a meme she posted. "Seems to be mocking the #MeToo movement." She's clearly mocking liberals in general and to actually get upset over this goes right back to her "Make America Not A Bunch of Whiny Bitches Again" point.

6) Apparently, it's a "far-right" opinion according to The Daily Beast to ask "what equal rights of women would Kavanaugh be taking away?"

Not sure why anyone would go after a tweet like this that is a normal question? They're really stretching here.

7) Here, The Daily Beast shows that they do not understand the concept of innocent until proven guilty and they go on to criticize her for being a "big fan of the hashtag #WomenForKavanaugh."

8) In the same paragraph, they literally write, "Swanson seems to think that false rape accusations are a pervasive and dangerous threat to society."

Spoiler alert: they are.

9) Somehow, the publication takes issue with Swanson being a conservative her entire life?

10) The article concludes with a tweet she posted on October 2 where she says she's been MAGA her whole life. Again, missing how this is "far-right"

11) Conclusion: this is a pathetic attempt at a smear of someone that The Daily Beast has determined to be a problem in Hollywood simply because she's conservative. They labeled her "far-right," but don't have any evidence backing that claim. This whole thing is absolute trash.
