Still not recovered from going to the airport & the day before, the damn grocery store.

Shoulda stayed in bed. Here's why I'm happy I didn't.

#mypaindiary #SHAREOURPAIN

As I've probably mentioned. #myspoons seem to last longer when I'm in a good mood.

& I'm in one today because of the people I live with.

This morning I didn't have to lift a finger, because their Dad woke them up.

My mother called and offered to make me eggs. I woul find out later but it was her spicy eggs.

Actual footage of me eating what Mom cooks especially for me believe.

I told my mother how I planned to get my cash right. She told me hell no, follow the doctor's orders and rest.

Then she gave me her last non-emergency funds to keep my site bare bones running. Queen. Denied my refusals.

When I came back down my brother in law had cleaned the entire house and filed my Mom's pack rat items.

Then he moved & installed the big screen TVs.

3 of us couldn't lift the 56 inch LCD for more than a few seconds. He's picking them up like they're folding chairs.

Couldn't let him do all that work & not gather with the whole family. I could feel their togetherness from upstairs.

My nieces & nephews kept cuddling up to their father. He keeps picking them up and holding them. I'm so touched by their love for each other. ❤️❤️❤️❤️♥️♥️♥️

My sister AND my mother cooked. Omg homemade #Naija food. If there's anything better on earth I fear it. For that much joy must certainly smite ye.

We all sat in the living room and talked. Then kids were sent to bed, my bro-in-law was jet lagged, my mama went to sleep.

& My sister and I did our full Thursday night #TGIT chill. First time since May or June.

Renewed conversation with Mom in the evening. She told me to relax, that my health is more important than bills.

Sis pointed out that I never rested. She's right.

I worked full time from diagnosis to chemo.

I worked part time during chemo 10- 15 hours a week.

I've been working half time during recovery. This is madness.

So that's why I'm drained & will probably extend my recovery time into the weekend.

Only now? I'll feel okay about it.

Sure, this pain is draining and fatigue is making it worse.

But my family understands today.

Everyone has stepped it up a notch, at least for now. I feel safe and loved. And very very tired.

unroll s'il tu plait.
