My mum and I were looking through her old newspapers and magazines earlier. Here's a tour of some of the stuff we found

In 1998 families and houses in Northern Ireland receive a copy of the Belfast/Good Friday Agreement in the post. Im 9/10.

The Agreement recognises "the legitimacy of whatever choice is freely exercised by a majority of the people of Northern Ireland with regard to its status"

The Agreement has provisions regarding the removal of "security installations"

It has provisions regarding the Irish Language

Skip forward to the 27th March 2007. Im in Geneva with Uni. My mum tells me another deal has been done. She sends me a picture of Adams and Paisley sitting together

Prime Minister Tony Blair says he is staking his personal legacy on the Agreement in Ulster
