I am from Odisha. I heard PM Modi today's speech in #cuttack but sadly, it was nothing more than a beautiful garland of lies. So I think it will be appropriate to put facts in public domain so that people on there own may decide who is right and who is not.

1. On Mahanadi he said Nitin gadkari suggested Odisha Govt. for setting up a tribunal to settle issue in time bound manner but odisha govt denied.

It it was Odisha Govt which fight tooth and nail for setting tribunal whereas Central govt was opposing its formation. Finally odisha govt took the case to SC , and SC directed Central govt. to set up tribunal. Here is the link...

2. He very cleverly took the credit of Modernisation of #Vimsar (hospital) Burla, but the fact is otherwise.

Modernisation of Vimsar is a project of Odisha Govt. and it was started much b4 Modi came to power. Major Funds towards it was allocated by Odisha Govt.

3. He said center formed various scheme for "safety of people living in costal areas".

Its laughworthy. ओडिशा सरकार स्कीम नही देती काम कर के दिखती है. In 2013 phylin cyclone (most intense cyclone ever recorded in India with wind speed "215 km/h") made landfall in Odisha.

Odisha Govt evacuated ALL the people living in Kaccha house from ALL 20 costal districts to safer location making it BIGGEST EVER EVACUATION in history (10 people died who denied to leave there house)
Whereas recently just a dust storm in UP-Rajastan killed 150 peoples.

4. He talked about tax incentives to SMEs.
4a. Ur govt reduced Corporate tax rate by 5% is half truth. ur govt also reduced deptn rates upto 60%(from 100% to 40% on some assets) as a result over all tax liability rather decreasing, actually increased as compare to earlier regime.

4b. People of ur party (including FM) before election promised to make income upto 5 lacs tax free.
After election no change has been made to tax slab in last 4 years. Infact real tax slab has been decreased and lower middle class has been taxed much more than previous regime.

4c. How Modi govt increased Service tax rates from 12.36% to 18% is hidden to none. And yes I think Tax on LTCG of equity need to be mention specially.
Sensex one day b4 budget was at 36050 which falled by 5000 points after that and still is at 34,900. calculate loss to investor!

5. PM blamed Odisha govt because Lower Indra dam project & Rukuda Dam project is not yet completed.

The said projects were planned to be constructed by SG with central govt assistance but ur govt in last 4 years has not allocated a single penny towards it accomplishment !

Finally, Modiji, if you think you can fool Odiya people than u r wrong. We are same people who rejected you even in 2014 amid so called "Modi wave" in other parts of country. We know you well! Ur marketing tricks will not work here.
