FYI: Dragging #MaggieHaberman is not about pettiness, it's about the accumulation of privilege, nepotism & the multitude of familial connections that gave her access 2 Trump, & the hidden PR empire her mother works 4 that has been cleaning up Trump/Kushner shit with spin 4 years.

Both of #MaggieHaberman's parents were journalists. Both are aware of Trump's mob ties because they either covered it personally (Daddy) or were paid to spin it away with bullshit (Mama) as a high-powered PR Exec. Moreover, Maggie has covered Trump long enough to know.

One cannot properly report on Trump's business empire without doing a deep dive into his decades long associations with domestic and international organized crime syndicates. #MaggieHaberman wrote not story about that.

Y'all are free 2 believe that #MaggieHaberman's failure 2 write about Trump's mob ties was an innocent oversight because she believed conventional wisdom that he would lose. Do u believe 4 one second that extensive mob associations involving Obama or Hillary would be overlooked?

So while #MaggieHaberman was busy writing 68 stories on Hillary's email, there was no mention of Trump's violations of money laundering laws. No mention of Trump's business relationships abroad with high-level officials of a corrupt authoritarian regime in Muslim Azerbaijan.

Was the Baku Hotel a secret? Was the glaring hypocrisy of being in a business relationship w/ a dictatorship in a Muslim country while running for president of the United States on a racist anti-muslim platform lost on the media, #MaggieHaberman included? Help me understand.

Trump's business interests across the globe present a glaring conflict of interest in faithfully executing the office of president. The Times presented a sanitized version of the empire that omits his deals w/ criminals & corrupt govts, which denied voters an informed decision.

The late Wayne Barrett didn't turn a blind eye to Trump's venality and business relationships w/ the mob. His mother wasn't on the Trump/Kushner payroll like #MaggieHaberman. He chronicled the first 20 years of Trump's unfathomable greed. The story of Trump Tower is illuminating.
