Someone called Buzzfeed pretty quick (within several hours) to push back hard. Wonder who?
"An unsourced suggestion that an office within Treasury is engaged in illegal spying on Americans is unfounded and completely off-base" uh huh. #Spygate
"This is domestic spying"
"Sources also claim that OIA had opened a back door to officers from other intelligence agencies...including the CIA" no foolin. #Spygate#MichaelCohen
The practice only became controversial when learned about in 2016! Then the Treasury's Office of Terrorism and Financial Intelligence tried to transfer most of their work over. HMMMM Was there a counter intelligence operation going on in the Trump campaign then?
"OIA is allowed to access FinCEN's banking database for specific FOREIGN INTELLIGENCE PURPOSES" but "has been going far beyond those limits" #SPYGATE#CrossfireHurricane
WOW. "after they began raising alarms, OIA began shutting them off from classified networks. That lack of access...meant FinCEN officials were unable to fully respond to law enforcement agencies during several LIVE TERRORIST ATTACKS over the last year"
The more and more we learn, the more news articles are showing up with damaging information that was just ignored by an uncreative and lazy, complicit anti-Trump media! Unreal.

ADDENDUM:
Here is my thread about the BBC article naming Crossfire Hurricane and that insanity to go with this.

"Former FBI general counsel James Baker met during the 2016 season with at least one attorney from Perkins Coie, the Democratic National Committee's private law firm." This is so vague thehill.com/hilltv/rising/…
"Baker was interviewed by lawmakers behind closed doors on Wednesday. Sources declined to divulge his testimony, other than to say it confirmed other evidence about the contact between the Perkins Coie law firm and the FBI."
So vague. So vague. What even is this?
"The sources also said Baker's interview broke new ground both about the FBI's use of news media in 2016 and 2017 to further the Trump case and about Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein's conversations in spring 2017 regarding possible use of a body wire to record Trump."
"...Mr. Trump received the equivalent today of at least $413 million from his father’s real estate empire, starting when he was a toddler and continuing to this day."
Oh no, they've got him this time! BABY TRUMP COMMITTING TAX FRAUD!
Wait the lawyer said it's irrelevant because nothing eventful would have happened to Leland. But her friend leaving her in a house full of gang rapists that just tried to assault her with no way for her to get home, all older boys and just her, would have been eventful
At the very least her friend would have been wondering why she was abandoned at a party with older drunk people and had to have found another ride home and would have had to wait awhile I bet and would have surely remembered meeting Brett Kavanaugh in that time frame.
"It is apparently impossible for our media to realize that promulgating nothing more than decades-old hearsay with precisely no corroborating evidence is unbecoming and cruel."
This is why every "it's just another week" comment falls flat to me. Vote now
"“I have two spirited daughters. … Margaret loves sports and she loves to read. Liza loves sports and she loves to talk. I have tried to create bonds with my daughters like my dad created with me."
You're ruining this family by allowing this charade to continue. Disgusting
"It is absolutely soul-crushing and heartbreaking to realize that they are willing to destroy him as a husband and father to achieve that goal. Have they any decency?"
For #InternationalPodcastDay I recommend a podcast called "The Worst Idea of All Time" from two guys in New Zealand. In season one they watched the movie Grown Ups 2 once a week for a year and reviewed it each week. It's hilarious and gets pretty dark. stitcher.com/podcast/matt-h…
Also, they had never seen Grown Ups 1 either. 😂
If you can imagine the mental toll that would take on two people, to both have to watch Grown Ups 2 once a week for 52 weeks, then try to do a podcast and give your thoughts on it? Sometimes stockholm syndrome kicks in and sometimes they have to drink at 8am to get through it lol
