This is insane. Bakery in Portland fired employees after they declined to serve a woman who came in after they were already closed. The woman, a professional equity activist, took out a video camera & claimed she was a victim of racism. #StarbucksEffectm.facebook.com/backtoedenbake…
I recommend you all read the full post and comments in that link. It is illuminating to see the level of masochism operating openly in our society with encouragement by power-hungry sadists.
Also, the bakery is hosting a “reparations happy hour” on June 20 where “Black, Brown & Indigenous people” can get free money & meet in a safe space. Whites not allowed to attend but can donate to reparations cause. oregonlive.com/portland/index…
The bakery has deleted its 3400 word apology post after getting critical responses. Here is an archive: web.archive.org/web/2018052912…
All of the public comments in the thread have been deleted but I saved some of them because they are so illuminating. “She deals with whiteness for a living.”
A woman asked if people could bring Lillian food to help alleviate her emotional distress.
The owner is walking back previous statement about how the two female employees were fired to satisfy demands from activists & clarifies that bakery only discriminates against “white supremacist fascists.” Via Google business review:
What’s the word for when someone or something really lacks self-awareness?

Overnight on 30–31 Aug (94th day of protests & riots), #antifa attacked the Kelly police building in Portland again. In response to the killing of the Trump supporter, they came in bullet vests & armed w/numerous guns & "spike strips" to pop police tires. portlandoregon.gov/police/news/re…

Arrested at the violent #antifa Portland protest, charged & quickly released without bail:
This is the type of street anarchy that routinely happens where I live. Here is video from 6 Oct showing Antifa directing traffic in downtown & threatening people who don’t obey with violence. Mayor @tedwheeler, who really runs this town?
And here is video of an elderly man who didn’t heed their street orders — so they chased him down. #Portland
Saturday’s street take over was just one in a string of events where the city’s leaders abdicated responsibility to uphold the rule of law. Here’s an example I investigated from the summer that lasted for weeks: wsj.com/articles/anarc…
WOW. Remember the published feminist academic articles on dog rape culture, fat body building, & “womb room” feminist poetry? It was an elaborate project by @peterboghossian, @ConceptualJames, @HPluckrose to expose extreme bias of grievance research. wsj.com/articles/fake-…
Holy crap. One of their accepted academic articles to Affilia, a feminist social work journal actually was a rewrite of Hitler’s “Mein Kampf.” They swapped out anti-Jewry for intersectional jargon.
The fact this was considered by a feminist philosophy journal should tell you a lot. One paper they wrote suggested having “privileged” students lose speaking rights, be asked to sit on the floor and to wear chains during class. YIKES.
Follow this thread for my live tweeting from Saturday’s #MythCon event. The conference in the past focused on secularism but now speakers are going to debate topics like feminism & social justice.
Sargon of Akkad is debating atheist social justice advocate @RichardCCarrier at #MythCon. Last year, Sargon debated an irate Thomas Smith, who repeatedly accused him of misogyny. Security even became involved later. This was my report: areomagazine.com/2017/10/03/cha…
I just got back from the “abolish ICE” Portland camp. It’s become a sprawling parallel fortress society. The smell is memorable. Many rules (eg photography not allowed inside).
A bit of panic ensues when Portland Police finally go inside camp to post statements that space will be cleared. I followed them.
Sometime soon, the City of Portland will likely start clearing the anti-ICE/anti-borders camp (notices already posted more than 24 hours ago). In response, the camp has walled themselves off completely. They even have "wall guards" keeping watch. From the last hour:
