About Convulsions,
It is scary to see your child have one, but note that children don't die from convulsions...
They instead die from aspiration of all the substances and items you put in their mouth.

Here's what you should do while you await medical attention.

Place your child on the floor on his or her side and clear away objects that are in close proximity.

Loosen tight clothing surrounding the head or neck.

Don't put anything in your child's mouth or try to stop the convulsion unless your pediatrician has told you what to do.

If your child vomits, move him onto his side and clear out his mouth.

Don't try to hold your child down or restrain his movements.

You don't want your child aspirating anything even their own vomit or oil at this period. It will lead to inflammation of the the lungs and death!

Ordinary fever above 38°C can trigger a Febrile convulsion.
And something as simple as exposure and cold water/ tepid sponging can reduce the fever, and invariably the convulsion, while you take baby to the hospital to ascertain the root and treat it properly.

Putting objects (Spoons, fingers, iron, whatever) can ignorantly cause the tongue to fall back and block the airway, cutting off oxygen supply.

And like play like play, baby stops breathing, and dies, and you call your Village people or say Convulsion was the cause of death
