War games "are tremendously expensive," says @POTUS. "We pay for a big majority of them."

Asked by @JenniferJJacobs what US is getting in return for stopping war games on Korean peninsula, @POTUS doesn't give a direct reply and instead discusses what #DPRK did to secure today's meeting.
For seven months, no #DPRK missiles have gone up and no nuclear tests, "they've blown up their missile area," says @POTUS.
"I had 300 sanctions I was ready to put on last week," says @POTUS but it would have been disrespectful ahead of meeting with Kim.
"The process is going to take place" for #DPRK CVID, predicts @POTUS. "It wasn't a big point today... because it had been taken care of before we got here."
"I don't want to be threatening," replies @POTUS when asked what are the military consequences if #DPRK doesn't denuclearize.
"I think he loved it," says @POTUS of video he played for Kim Jong Un today.
"I had a very good meeting with the G7," says @POTUS when asked by @PhilipRucker if he's making enemies of friends and friends of enemies.
"I demanded changes and changes were made" in the #G7Charlevoix communique.
"I would like to involve Congress" in the #DPRK denuclearization deal, replies @POTUS.
"I have a good relationship" with @JustinTrudeau and "with Chairman Kim."
"We're getting together next week to go into the details," replies @POTUS to @STcom on what is the immediate next step with the #DPRK.
"From the beginning we got along," says @POTUS of meeting Kim Jong Un today.
"I just feel very strongly, my instinct, ability or talent, they want to make a deal."
"I've helped them," says @POTUS of the repressed people of North Korea.
"I want significant improvement" in the human rights situation in order to remove the sanctions, says @POTUS.
#DPRK nuclear arsenal is "very substantial," says @POTUS in response to @SangerNYT.
"Am I on the cover again this week?" @POTUS asks @TIME reporter after calling on him.
"If I can save millions of lives by coming here...it's my honor to do it," says @POTUS.
"I may stand before you in six months and say 'I was wrong'" and then jokes he'll probably never admit that.
