Thread: Nine days after I handed in my last #EMA for my @OU_OpenDegree, and I find myself missing the community of fellow students in the Tutor Group Forum. While I am happy to be graduating very soon indeed, @OpenUniversity studies has been a significant part of my life for 1/5
the past six years. I have learned a lot, with a great many other people. The end of this chapter of my life is something I have looked forward to with great anticipation, impatience, even longing. Yet, now that it is here, I find myself wishing it weren't so. Regardless of 2/5
whether I was joined by people I had studied with previously or not, I have always found the community that is established throughout the year to be an enjoyable one. The loss, at the end of a module, of said community has been tempered by the knowledge that I will join a new 3/5
one come fall. Not so this time around. I suspect I will miss it a good deal more than I had previously expected. I am grateful to all of my tutors and fellow @OUstudents for all of the experiences we have had together, and I am proud to call the @OpenUniversity my 4/5
alma mater. I will never forget what it has taken to get to this point, and I will forever be grateful. 5/5
