Things that get said in #NCGA committee meetings: "I know for sure that if you continue to recruit young ladies like (those sitting in)the front row, you're not gonna have any trouble recruiting young men. We'll have more farmers then we know what to do with."
Note that this was said in front of/to a group of female high school students. One of the students looked only kind of uncomfortable (I know because she looked right at me after it was said)
For more context, Sen. Norm Sanderson said this during a committee meeting where FFA members were visiting lawmakers with their teacher.
