Just In: My colleague travelled to Abuja for his Agip scholarship test. On his way back to Jos, some guys stopped their vehicle to inquire whether they were Muslims or Christians. Luckily for them, they were all Christians and so their vehicle was allowed to pass freely.

The only Muslim lady inside the vehicle was lucky enough to pull her hijab and she hid it. That was what saved her from being lynched. My friend said he saw them smashing the head of two people right in from of him ( a driver transporting tomatoes and peppers & a young man).

According to him, a lady backing a small baby was almost lynched but some of them protested and begged she be left alone because of her baby. That was her own saving grace.

This was the SMS I got yesterday from one of my bosses. I never knew the crisis had taken another dimension today. Security in Nigeria is something else.

I was in house on the rock today here in Jos when the pastor was telling us that one of the security personnel attached to the church told him that he assisted in evacuating close to 28 corpse at barkin ladi. My boss just this afternoon told me over close to 300 dead.

I saw a Fulani security this evening that was narrating how his cousin was murdered yesterday. According to him, his cousin was on his was from Mangu to Jos when their bus was stopped. They separated the Christians from Muslims & they asked the Christians to get back into..

the bus. It was one of the Christian guys who boarded the bus & happened to be a friend of his cousin that picked the boy's call and narrated what transpired to the family. The guy that was murdered was schooling in plateau state poly. #PlateauLivesMatter #PlateauKillings
