So... @Wizards_DnD I have a humble request. Instread of trying to have magic related trans-ish things in the game to just sort if represent trans experiences, could you like...Just have some cool canonically trans figures in the cannon? Just straight up put trans ppl in the game?

Like if you need some characters, I can make some for you, I love making characters and I'm told that I am pretty good at it. There are a lot of good trans writers. Just, I would like cannon trans hard hitting npcs in my adventure modules. I'm just saying.

Also I'm gonna just keep restating it until it happens, just so you all know, any signal boost would be cool, or if there are trans chars in cannon that I am unaware of, pls let me know. Thank you for your time.

A lot of DMs seem to not really have a goid idea of how to approach handling trans PCs in their games, and it's probably especially hard without having any in-cannon examples to look to. Temptation seems to be just give them a potion that "fixes" it which undermines expression.

(fixes is in quotes because that line of thinking it's self is kind of messed up, especially with such a complex subject)
Outside of that, most games that I have been in hasn't really had room for that? It's like, "ok your char is trans, footnote that".

I think not having canonically stated trans characters in the world and instead having thise 'magic pseudo trans things of sex changing wooooo' sort of sends the msg that there's no room for expression of trans experiences. (see back to "fixing" via magic)

And giving more of these avenues in a way sort of gives less room to express trans experiences via gameplay.
Having options is good but without acknowledging why they're there or how to use them effectively isn't a perfect fix. Ya know?

Not having a clear way of expressing one's experience in game at this point sends the message that one can be anything they want in DnD EXCEPT themself, in a way.

I guess I need to add this because it's not obvious to many people. The argument that trans people aren't needed because #DnD is an escape from reality implies that trans people are something to be escaped from.
