10 Scientific reasons behind why you should visit Temple.
Paying visit to temples are not only to get blessing but to get a calm and better mind set. The following scientific reasons are the actual purpose of visiting the temple according to the Hindu script.
1-Location and Structure of Temple:
Temples are found at a place where +ve energy is available abundantly. The idol of God is set in core center of the temple, known as “Garbhagriha” or “Moolasthanam”. It's the place where earth’s magnetic waves are discovered to be most extreme.
2-Removing Footwear Before Entering Temple:
In olden days, temples were built in such a way that floor at center of temple were good conductors of these +ve vibrations allowing them to pass through our feet to body. Hence it's necessary to walk bare footed while u enter temple.
3-Ringing the temple bell– Hearing Sense Activated:
The bell produces a sharp and enduring sound which lasts for minimum of 7 sec in echo mode. Duration of echo is good enough to activate all 7 healing centres in our body. This results in emptying our brain from all -ve thoughts.
4-Lighting Camphor in Front of Idol – Sight Sense Activated:
Inner core of temple is usually dark where the idol is placed. You usually close ur eyes to pray and when you open ur eyes u should see the camphor which was lit to do the Aarthi. This light activates your sight sense.
5-Put your hands over the camphor flames and then touch eyes – Touch Sense Activated:
Once camphor is brought to you after offering prayer, you usually put your hands over camphor to make your hands warm and then you touch your eyes. This action assures your touch sense is active
6-Offering flowers to God at the temple – Smell Sense Activated:
Flowers are good to see, spread good fragrance, very soft to touch. Only specific flowers are used for offering to God. Fragrance of flower, camphor keep ur smell sense active and pleasant, giving calmness to mind.
7-Drinking Theertham – Taste Sense Activated:
Next part of your act would be to drink theertham from a silver or a copper vessel. The water used for theertham usually would contain Thulasi leaves dipped in water and must be stored at least for eight hours in the copper vessel.
According to Ayurveda, water stored in a copper vessel has the ability to balance all the three doshas in your body, (vata, kapha and pitta) and it does so by positively charging the water. By drinking this Thulasi water you activate the taste sense.
8-Doing Pradakshina around the Garbhagriha/Moolasthanam:
After performing all rituals you have to walk around the idol inside Garbhagirha, in clockwise direction 9 times. Pradakshina literary means right side in Sanskrit. When u do pradakshina,u tend to absorb all +ve vibrations.
9-Applying Tilak/Kumkum:
On forehead, between eyebrows, is a spot that's considered major nerve point in human body since ancient times. The Tilak prevents loss of “energy”, ‘kumkum’ between eyebrows is said to retain energy in body and control the various levels of concentration
10-Why offer Coconut and Banana to God when you visit temple:
Coconut and Banana are the only two fruits in this world which are considered to be “Sacred fruits”. In the case of coconut and banana, the shell or the sleeves is not used for anything.
To grow a coconut tree, you have to sow the entire coconut itself and Banana tree grows with sampling. This is why Coconut, Banana has an imp place in all religious activities. Our Ancestors found this reality long ago and they made it as a system which is followed religiously.
Critics say God is everywhere then why go to temple? It's bcos a devotee needs a calm place for prayer. Adi Shankaracharya established 4 Mutts,12 Jyoti Linga temples and 100s of more in a short span of 32 yrs so that ppl visit temples regularly. Hope we understand the importance.

Deal size $5.4 billion i.e ₹40,000 crores; the biggest ever defence deal by India.
The S-400 Surface-to-Air missile can destroy targets (whether static or enemy’s missile/fighter jets) even 400 Km away.

UJJAIN
It is an ancient and historical city that is 5000 years old. It is famous for spiritual as well as scientific reasons. It is described as the best city in Adi Brahma Puran and it is called mokshda and bhukti-mukti in Agni Puran and Garuda Puran.
There was a time when this city had been a capital of a big empire. It has a glorious history. As per religious books this city has never seen destruction, for God of destruction Mahakaal himself resides here. It has a Jyotirling out of the 12, 2 Shakti Peeths, the Sacred Kumbh.
As per Garuda Puran there are 7 cities that can provide salvation but importance of Ujjain is a little more. It's believed that it has foot prints of Lord Vishnu. Lord Rama himself performed his father’s last rites after his death at Ujjain. That place is called ‘Ram Ghat’.

#SabarimalaVerdict
There's no uproar about admitting all women at all times into Sabarimala. People have taken it with great equanimity and dry humour that has so characterised Hindu culture for millennia now. Already memes and jokes have started doing the rounds on WhatsApp.
People of my generation feel depressed, anguished. People with political axes to grind are expressing rage or glee depending on their affiliations. Older generation like those of my parents feel that the Lord knows what is best and acts through human agencies or through Nature.
The biggest circus, the electronic media, is stirring up such a cockfight. People who have no stake in the issue except political, act up with anchors playing ringmasters and get paid for their appearance.

Since late 80s issue of corruption has been discussed in every living room, in trains amongst co passengers, in schools, colleges, as a fav topic of debate, discussion; Is Corruption a bigger menace than terrorism or Is corruption making the country hollow!
We discussed every form of corruption endlessly, quoting examples, as if it was all pervading ; as to how money is being hoarded under beds, almirahs, how traders are avoiding sales tax, how inter state borders where excise people collect taxes are a big source of corruption.
How hardly 2% population is paying taxes and rest generating black money, how builders are minting money and flouting rules, diverting money from one project to another and fooling the customers, how some having black money are buying BENAMI properties.

#LordGanesh
Ever wondered why is it that we worship Lord Ganesh first! According to the Ganapati Upanishad, he appeared even before the creation of nature (prakriti) and consciousness (purusha). This is an important link as to why he's is worshiped before beginning any task.
#LordGanesh
According to the yogic perspective, anything we do has to fall under one of the two categories: material or spiritual. It's believed that Lord Ganesh rules the 'muladhara chakra' of our body. 'Muladhara' is the interface between the material and the spiritual worlds.
#LordGanesh
He controls both these worlds. He gives us material enjoyments in this world and liberates us from endless cycle of birth and death. According to yogic principles, our material life and spiritual journey starts from the 'Muladhara' chakra which is controlled by him.
