Governor Cuomo recently announced a proposal that allows schools to determine which students they deem dangerous and hence will allow them to petition a judge to have LEGAL firearms removed from the homes of those students' parents.

This of course, would require some form of background checks of the parents with children in the schools.

Forgetting for a moment that New York won't conduct background checks on illegal aliens and is thereby putting the rights of criminals over those of law abiding citizens, I ask you to consider the implications of such a measure.
