"Clearly, the cost of doing nothing to stop illegal immigration is far too high," said FAIR Executive Director Dan Stein. "President Trump has laid out a comprehensive strategy to regain control of illegal immigration and bring down these costs," said Stein.
"Building the wall, enhancing interior enforcement and mandating national E-Verify will go a long way in bringing these ridiculously high costs under control," he added.
And it also documents the taxes paid and how they don't come close to offsetting the costs. What's more, FAIR noted that 35 percent of the illegal population operate in an underground economy hidden from tax collectors.
And worse, employers hire illegals and either pay them cheaply or under the table. "The United States recoups only about 14 percent of the amount expended annually on illegal aliens.
If the same jobs held by illegal aliens were filled by legal workers, at the prevailing market wage, it may safely be presumed that federal, state and local governments would receive higher tax payments," said FAIR.

#ThursdayThoughts Voter fraud is real. #ElectionIntegrity isn't about Russia, it's about US organizations that receive financial support to tamper with election results.
🗳️276 registered DOES NOT EQUAL 670 ballots, not in any state or precinct in America.
🗳️Eggers’ book points out that voter fraud is increasingly common and encouraged by left-wing mega-donors like George Soros who support organizations that commit voter fraud.
🗳️The book also notes that enough voter fraud has been documented to swing a presidential election and is enough of a problem that it could impact the 2018 midterm elections.
The @HouseDemocrats@SenateDems have no claim to any moral high grounds, not Biblical, not societal, not perceived. As much as they pretend to ignore their misdeeds and crimes, the skeletons aren't deeply buried. The past 8 years of a Democratic administration have left a...
treasure trove of bad policies, poor deals, questionable morals, a divided nation, and a horrible economy hidden in plain sight. Today, in their fear of losing their last semblances of control, they've embraced a far Left, Socialist ideology of free for all, all are welcome ...
no behavior too heinous to accept, hatred of American principles and beliefs. They're blind to or unwilling to back down from the ruinous precepts of this ideology, not recognizing that without Conservative values and tax payers, this country will cease to exist.

This is how Twitter is making conversations more "meaningful". Certain phrases, behavior, users, hashtags are filtered out of searches and other interactions, which puts some answers behind the "view more replies" filter. Conservatives, please read and RT.
You notice this if your tweets aren't being seen by all users, only by your followers, or if certain content isn't seen by all. When likes/RTs drop, it's likely because of the QFD - quality filter discrimination.
Lots and lots of Conservatives have been complaining about this, but didn't know how it was happening. This explains it pretty well. Based on my personal experience, this rings true.
"That was a shocking response. I was surprised after the conversation that his response was: 'Help me see a better light," he continued.
Rather than focus on the "painful" "uncomfortable" aspects of many race conversations, focus on the hopefulness, the willingness to see, not as I see, but as you see.
WANT TO KNOW WHO STARTED THE "TAKE A KNEE - HATE OUR FLAG MOVEMENT?" READ THIS: Code, Title 36, Chapter 10, Sec. 171 During rendition of the national anthem, when the flag is displayed, all present (except those in uniform) are expected to stand at attention facing the flag
with the right hand over the heart. Or, at the very least,"Stand and Face It".
[Then] Senator Obama replied: "As I've said about the flag pin, I don't want to be perceived as taking sides. There are a lot of people in the world to whom the American flag is a symbol of oppression.
The anthem itself conveys a war-like message. You know, the bombs bursting in air and all that sort of thing." Obama continued: "The National Anthem should be 'swapped' for something less parochial and less bellicose. I like the song 'I'd Like To Teach the World To Sing'.
