A short thread about the reality of #RacistLabour
So today some of us gathered to protest against a party with antisemitism issues defining antisemitism in a way that helps racists
You’ll never guess what happened next... >>
We go to the nearest pub and there’s shouting. Someone is angry and wants a fight. He saw a Star of David and is angry because he says Jews are to blame for political instability in the world. >
Here’s the thing - he was why we turned out today. We were demonstrating against people like him
Forget the IHRA, good jew/bad Jew and any confusing stuff. This is about people attacking British Jews for being responsible for things happening in other parts of the world. >
And as far as Labour goes, what he said was A-ok by them. They support this officially now. A free reign for people to abuse Jews fully endorsed by the Labour Party. >
So the all too familiar message by labour members and officials of conspiratorial Jews with undue power who are responsible for all sorts is now seeping out into the wider public. >
This is the new reality jews now face thanks to labour. An unhealthy obsession driven from the top down with terrible effects on normal people. Because jews are normal people too. Right @jeremycorbyn?

Want to know why Jews like me, @TracyAnnO@GnasherJew@NudderingNudnik and co won’t give up and are so passionate? We are the last generation with a direct connection to the Holocaust. I sat next to man in Synagogue with numbers on his arm. My relative had the same. >
I grew up with stories that hurt the soul. I knew someone who was shot by Nazis with her family and left for dead in a pit of bodies. She was still alive but pretended to be dead, hiding under the dead bodies of her mother and father until nightfall when she escaped >
She was such a damaged soul. My own grandmother was haunted by ghosts of her family every night. The guilt of surviving damaged her soul too. These stories aren’t unusual for Jewish families. >
A thread about the antisemitic hate campaign spilling onto the streets.
We’ve started to see intimidation and violence relating to #LabourAntisemitism and it’s only going to get worse >>
Looking at a small dossier of Labour antisemitism cases, the ex-head of hate crime for the met police said nearly half should be prosecuted. > google.co.uk/amp/s/amp.lbc.…
What about the thousands who’ve already been reported to Labour? 1200 alone by @labouragainstas. Labour has become a party that harbours and protects hate crime against Jews >
Here’s a thread about a Kurdish friend who visited recently. It should act as a warning for us all...
He saw the picture of Corbyn’s Rabiah - the hand symbol of the jihadist group the Muslim Brotherhood >> google.co.uk/amp/s/www.tele…
He recognised it instantly of course. It strikes terror into any minority or moderate Muslim from the region. He kept on looking at me and saying ‘but he’s left wing. This is disgusting.’ He was blown away. >>
Corbyn’s links, support and friendship with jihadists were exposed by the national press during the week and he was wide eyed. He was asking how such a man could be allowed to lead a mainstream political party in Britain >>
A thread about the lessons in history of Labour defining antisemitism for Jews:
In 1894 a French army officer was wrongly imprisoned. Being Jewish, the accusation of him having dual loyalties was an easy sell. The newspaper expose was famously headlined “J’accuse!” >>
The victim was called Dreyfus and he was a proud Frenchman. A soldier dedicated to serving his country. But all his countrymen saw was a Jew. And Jews weren’t to be trusted >> en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dreyfus_a…
Labour’s new definition of antisemitism means that accusations of Jews having dual loyalties is considered acceptable once again. It means a return to this classic form of antisemitism >>
