With the @LibDems again smearing women who dare to question and disagree with them, it is important to reiterate the origins of #WPUK. This group was founded by women of the Labour and Trade Union movement. It welcomes women of different political backgrounds at it's meetings
but it has a strong socialist origin because this is simply how the founders all knew each other. It was formed in the backdrop of two important anti-women events. The first was the no-platforming of Linda Bellos by the LBGT society at Peterhouse College Cambridge.
This is why the first #WPUK meeting was in Cambridge. So the @Libdems are pushing the idea that a 'white supremacist' group sprung up and kicked into action to support a black, jewish, lesbian trade unionist. theguardian.com/commentisfree/…
Groups are not formed overnight, the #WPUK was taking shape in the backdrop to the Labour women purges - the disciplining and silencing of women in the Labour Party who questioned self-ID.
The @LibDems are an anti-women party. This was produced by @not_buyingit in the lead up to the local elections to show how the Lib Dems support pimps and pornographers.
Interesting historical co-incidence. A Woman's Place was formed partly in response to the Labour Party's silencing of women, the WSPU (the Suffragettes) was formed by Emmeline Pankhurst in response to the Independent Labour Party's use of women's energies but refusal to push for
their demands. Keir Hardie, who founded the ILP in 1893, later part founded the Labour Party whose first candidates came from the ILP.
Keir Hardie had founded the ILP because the Liberals would not field working-class candidates and Hardie believed they just paid lip service to getting working class men the vote. Hardie said 'men and women' but Pankhurst responded 'Deeds not words'.
Also, interesting: 'of the three main parties, the Lib Dems had the fewest female MPs, and they were concentrated in the party’s most precarious constituencies'.

If you pay attention to what Tim Farron said over the sexual harassment allegations against Lib Dem Lord Rennard, Farron says Rennard was forced off the front bench because it damages the party, not because sexually abusing women is wrong. independent.co.uk/news/uk/politi…
So it would seem that the Lib Dems, who claim a woman can't be defined and is just a feeling, know what a woman is when they want to sexually abuse them.
Another co-inky-dink, as feminists, lesbians and slowly gay men point out that sex-role stereotype ideology (trans-genderism) is deeply homophobic remember the Lib Dem leader, whose party embraces this ideology, said he was a fool not to declare homosexuality a sin ...

A detailed look at the U.K. Serious Case Review National Repository suggests to me that Susie Green of mermaids is making up statistics and in my opinion behaving unethically and in contradiction with the Samaritan guidelines around suicide.
This has come out of work @AlfredBelpaire has done and privately shared with me. The 'stats' Susie Green and another Mermaids mum are pushing, the sensationalist Guardian article do NOT agree with the research by GIDS of the Tavistock and Portman.
Who sent me this thread? I want to thank you but I can't find the notification.
Sokal squared set about to expose the sophistry and forgery of knowledge in academia, particularly 'grievance studies', and it has been marvellous. I was even dealing with this just this morning (see screen grab).
This is in the comments section below. This Professor Emeritus of Applied Philosophy doesn't think that biological sex is real, that women are disadvantaged by systemic oppression based on biology. It is, frankly, batsh*t.
Prof.'s Stock rebuttal of five common arguments that men are women on their self declaration is beautiful. Proper reasoning and argument has returned to the room!
According to @StopFundingHate talking about women's rights= hateful, speaking about safeguarding= hateful, biology= hateful, speaking of sexism= hateful, women defining themselves= hateful, advertising government consultation= hateful.
I'm starting to suspect @StopFundingHate haven't done the reading.
Are they really going to start a campaign telling women to just be nice? @StopFundingHate
Jess is under the impression that women, and some men, meeting to discuss potential legislative changes is against UK law and council policies. Jess may have confused her anti-women feelings with actual legislation.
This is a personal favourite, Jess celebrating denying women their lawful rights by screaming 'mine' like a toddler. Thanks Jess, this really made me laugh.
There is a long heritage of women like Jess. Julia Bush has written a fantastic article on the women of the Anti-suffrage league bl.uk/votes-for-wome…
Thread. I am very worried that the Girl Guides is creating an institution and climate which is conducive to abuse.
Those who wish to access victims will exploit situations and put themselves in positions where they are surrounded by children. It is why paedophiles entered the Catholic Church, sports coaching, gymnastics coaching, children’s hospitals and homes.
One is not going to get much access to children while working on an oil rig.
