In the good old days, you had a choice between two parties. Both were represented by reasonable people for the most part. There were some political differences..the old conservative vs liberal mindset.
In recent years however, the @GOP has become a party of extremists.
1/
Due to religion, racism, reaction to equal rights. Who really knows the reason, but here are some things today's GOP stands for:
No abortion even when raped, even when Mom's life depends on it
but, no social services for poor children
Guns
anywhere
for anyone
2/
Heck. the GOP won't even entertain a ban on bump stocks and now, you can even print your own gun to bypass those pesky background checks.
Make it harder to vote. Require an I.D.- but close the facilities at which you can obtain one, but only in poor communities.
3/
Education-They want to make to take money from already underfunded public schools and give it to faith based schools. overall funding slashed
Taxes-@VP has been on tour to brag about benefits of the tax cut. 1.3% of workers in Pennsylvania received benefit....I woudn't brag

I am saying that the "Left" is not a "radical, progressive group" the right wants to porrtray us as.
There is nothing radical about gun safety, equal rights, equal education, tax fairness, healthcare
