.Apparently a clutch of fauxgressives decided to do the "BWHW" thing along with "corporate whores" and "it was rigged" on another social media platform I frequent, and on the page of a POC who just won a primary. Astonishingly enough (not) they are overwhelmingly white. 😏

.They seem to still have utterly missed the point of the repercussions of the 2016 election, and just don't care anyway. Their obsessive focus on the assumed instant corruption of candidates who accept corporate $ blinds them to the basic human rights that progressive dems are (2

.working to live through. They don't seem to care that WW are phoning cops on POC for just breathing, or that LGBTQ are likely to lose the right to marry, or that the supreme court is about to go back to the stone age under this admin, and don't take any responsibility for it (3)

.Every day in twitterverse I watch straight young white people who identify as "progressive" demean and diminish the lives of the marginalized & insist that WE need to recognize that "economic security" is the #1 issue all liberals need to focus on which will then solve all. (1)

.I watch them speak from their lofty privilege not realizing that they are standing on a platform built by the very people they demean. Their lack of gratitude for the work of these before them blows my mind. Their robotic devotion to an establishment man with minimal (2)

.accomplishments in his career is staggering. What saves me from despair is the ongoing work of POC and LGBTQ activists and allies who continue to engage the #racist & #homophobic #misogynist #transphobic "sleeping" people. Huge credit to all of you doing this work (3)
