Just wanted to draw your attention to a screenshot that someone had sent me, which shows someone using your name + picture to post material that strongly implies a move towards violent tactics being used against #trans people.

I’d like to draw particular attention to the picture used in the screenshot.

I think it is reasonable to conclude that this is exactly the same picture posted on your Twitter profile - @Karen_McInnes - on June 4th 2018.

Furthermore, I’d like to draw attention to some of the language used in the screenshot post:

“I hope every woman in the world piles on him and harasses him so much he fucking slits his own throat”

And also, the closing statement in the post, which is perhaps the most chilling of all:

“I’ve fucking had enough of these nasty abusive gaslighting bastards. I’m fucking tooling up.”

Now @Karen_McInnes - I would very much like to think that this is a case of mistaken identity, but it would seem that the evidence against you here is quite compelling.

This post contains violent, #transphobic and hateful language, far beyond what might be called civil debate.

Do you have any comments to make @Karen_McInnes about the post that has been written?

Is there a plausible alternative explanation?

Do you know who may have been compelled to fake your identity to post such hateful material?

I very much looking forward to hearing your comments @Karen_McInnes so that this unfortunate situation can be rapidly resolved

The #trans community already lives in fear of those who might use violence against them, + urgent reassurances are needed that you are not amongst them
