Let's look at Leakers
Chelsea Manning
Edward Snowden
Reality Winner
Jeffrey A. Sterling, ex-CIA
John Kiriakou, ex-CIA
Donald Sachtleben, ex-FBI explosives expert
Stephen Kim, ex-State Department contractor
Thomas A. Drake, ex-NSA
Shamai Leibowitz, ex-FBI linguist
all but Winner were prosecuted during @BarackObama's time in office.
Manning, Snowden, Winner all pretty well-known so I'm going to focus on the others for now.

Donald Sachtleben was initially arrested on child pornography charges....
(Lou's brain wants to know: was that child porn habit used as #Kompromat by our enemies??? to blackmail him into leaking??)

Stephen Kim leaked classified intel on North Korea to Fox News' James Rosen.

There are a lot of things that are fascinating about leakers, but to me the spin cycle of hot takes is quite interesting. Especially in light of @thespybrief's recent comments on "Soft Kremlin creeps."
I'm NOT an expert in propaganda/Russian media influence operations, so keep that in mind. For expertise, please see @MollyMcKew & @20committee & @counterchekist.
But I am pretty good at literary analysis, detecting media bias and recognizing patterns.
So here is my nosy housewife/ex financial analyst lukewarm take:
Some spin cycle pieces are useful idiocy.
Some are conclusions inferred from incomplete evidence.
Some hot takes, I fear, are worse-some are likely straight up Russian Active Measures.
More to come on this. #Soon
#LetsLookAtLeakers.
Now, to be clear, I do not love The New Republic. They've pushed a lot of crap imo. But this article on Kiriakou is interesting to me. newrepublic.com/article/148342…
And this is why I find it fascinating:
Kiriakou was instructed to "stay away from 9/11 truthers"
Sometimes, it's what's censored that is the most interesting.
Kiriakou's fellow Russian Agent of Influence Alex Jones IS A 9/11 "TRUTHER."
Isn't that interesting?
LOL. November 2017: ‘Zero evidence’ that Russia hacked DNC, says NSA whistleblower Binney (to RU STATE OWNED PROPAGANDA CHANNEL) (VIDEO). He’s also all up in the Nunes memo.

here's how I imagine the strategy meeting went:
PR1: "SHIT THE ALFA SERVER STORY IS OUT WE GOTTA DISTRACT DISTRACT DISTRACT!"
PR2: "LET'S THROW SOME ALL BLACK PEOPLE LOOK THE SAME CHUM INTO THE WATERS OF THE LEFT SO THEY DON'T FOCUS ON THE RUSSIAN MOB INFILTRATION OF OUR GOV'T!"
Buh Lou what are you taaallking about?
The Hill lets people who are REGISTERED (and unregistered) FOREIGN AGENTS PUBLISH PROPAGANDA IN THEIR OUTLET. Do you think they have any ethical standards? That'd be a big fat NO.
PS. google "the hill" + "Wilbur Ross"

Sovereign Society fed clients to Panama Papers law firm
#GoodJournalism by @mcclatchyDC's @KevinGHall from June 2016.
I'm gonna add some background info on Robert Bauman of the Sovereign Society, because it's important. mcclatchydc.com/news/nation-wo…
Bauman is an advocate for offshoring money to avoid taxes.
SO WE ARE CLEAR:
Tax avoidance is why our infrastructure is crumbling. Tax avoidance is a form of greed. Tax avoidance is unpatriotic. Tax avoidance is what's gonna get alllllllll the bad guys. #FATCAgonnagetcha
Bauman's wife Carol Dawson (their marriage was annulled in 1983), and he were deeply involved with Young Americans for Freedom, aka YAF, and the American Conservatives Union, aka ACU.

Brett Kavanaugh 2015 financial disclosure report contains the following:
"Trip to Arizona Cardinals-Detroit Lions football game in Detroit with group of friends from Georgetown Prep high school class of 1983, hosted by high school classmate Michael Bidwilll, President of...
...Arizona Cardinals. October 10-11, 2015. Paid $500 to reimburse for flights and game ticket."
The game was at 4:05PM on October 11th. Ended 7:20PM.
No mention of where Kavanaugh stayed, who paid for his stay, or if he stayed with a friend. No mention of who paid for food/BEER.
Given @gregolear @LincolnsBible @SpicyFiles and my financial analysis of Kavanaugh's family finances, he didn't have a spare $500 laying around in 2015.
