#BreakingNews Children may be missing due to Home Office failures. Today we won an important ruling in the Court of Appeal: The Home Office didn't act lawfully when rejecting child refugees' family reunion cases after the Calais 'Jungle' demolition bit.ly/2LQWQyo
(2/5) Following the demolition 1000 child refugees were interviewed by the Home Office who wanted to reunite with family in the UK, 530 of them were rejected. They were given little to no evidence meaning they could not challenge the desicion made.
(3/5) Today's ruling says the Home Office withheld a great deal of important evidence from the Judge. It was discovered they did not tell the children reason for their case's rejection because the Gov. feared legal challenges.
(4/5) New evidence shows the Fench authorities warned the Gov. that the children could go missing if they were not given the full reason for their cases' refusal
Today's judgment reveals the failure of the Gov. to abide by the law & their disregard for the safety of children
(5/5) 709 children who were removed from the 'Jungle' have since gone missing. Many denied their legal & moral right to be with family, forced to make the dangerous journey in the hands of smugglers
