(1) On @AliVaez's article about possible talks between #Trump & #Iran, the fact that the mullahs refuse to talk with Trump is not a sign of their strength or upper-hand.
In fact, it shows their inability & inflexibility.
Why? #IranProtests are increasing. theatlantic.com/international/…
(2) "Many Iranians had pinned their hopes for a better life on the deal, and it may well have improved relations between the two countries."
Even if true, the mullahs used the deal to further their bellicose, not to improve relations while the Iranian people suffered further.
(3) @AliVaez claims Trump pulling out of the deal "has done little to disguise its goal of fomenting unrest among Iranians."
(5) And @HassanRouhani adopting "the bellicose tone characteristic of the Islamic Republic’s hard-liners" doesn't prove Trump's firm policy is wrong.
In fact, it's the exact opposite.
It has forced him to show his true colors & prove to the world he is no "moderate."
(6) @AliVaez goes on to defend the highly flawed #IranDeal.
This shows Vaez's true colors of being an #Iran apologist.
He prefers a return to Obama's appeasement approach to allow the mullahs do as they wish.
Sorry for you, Vaez. Those days are long gone.
(7) @AliVaez goes on to defend #Iran's claim of Trump destroying "destroying the smidgen of trust that the deal created..."
It's a joke for Tehran to talk about "Tehran" and a shame for apologists like Vaez to trumpet their remarks.
(8) What @AliVaez obviously won't say is how terrified #Iran's regime & their chorus of apologists are of Tehran's firm (#Winning) policy.
This proves Trump is on the right track. And should continue this right track.
Again, sorry for you Vaez.
(9) Mark my words. The mullahs are saber-rattling in a futile attempt to decrease the price they have to pay.
They followed the same blueprint prior to the JCPOA talks as sanctions were breaking their backs.
(10) "Trump might see the allure of a 'mother of all deals' with Iran, which conceivably could bring about a nuclear pact more advantageous to the United States and deescalate tensions in Syria, Yemen, and elsewhere in the Middle East."
(11) This is EXACTLY what #Iran's regime & its apologists, like @AliVaez, are terrified of.
The mullahs' seek their own interests at the expense of the people in Iran & across the region.
No more.
(12) "Iran hawks and Washington, D.C., lobbies associated with Iran’s regional rivals seem to prefer to let sanctions take their toll on its economy, forcing the Islamic Republic to surrender..."
More indicate of @AliVaez's deep concerns, in line with #Iran's regime.
(13) #Iran's regime puts "little currency in 'meeting for the sake of [a] meeting' that 'produces intangible results.'"
Nice try @AliVaez. You & #Iran's regime know deep down that you have no way out & the crises are engulfing your apparatus unprecedentedly.
(14) #Iran's @khamenei_ir "approved nuclear negotiations only when he felt that Iran had accumulated sufficient nuclear capabilities to extract reciprocal concessions from the Obama administration."
Wrong.
Sanctions were breaking his back.
Obama, however, was a coward.
(15) "...from Tehran’s perspective, neither the time nor the circumstances are ripe for negotiations."
Actually, from #Iran's perspective, time & circumstances are COMPLETELY against them.
(16) @AliVaez asking what is Trump "willing to put on the table in return for concessions from Iran..."
#Iran, nor its apologists, are in no position to demand anything.
You should be thankful that Trump is even willing to sit down with you.
Don't forget Pompeo's 12 conditions.
(17) If #Iran's regime can't handle the situation, fine.
Brace for sanctions on August 6th & November 4th.
That & escalating #IranProtests should make them feel much, much better.
(18) @AliVaez parrot's #Iran's wish-list by saying #Trump should "respect to the great nation of Iran, reduce tensions, and return to the nuclear deal.”
Again, #Iran is in no position to talk about respect & reducing tensions.
And about the #IranDeal, its gone. Live with it.
(19) @AliVaez completely blows his cover and proves he is a die-hard #Iran apologist missing the Obama-mullahs honeymoon era.
(20) To #Iran's regime, @AliVaez & other Iran apologists:
Obama's gone & with him the appeasement policy that you so cherished.
The mullahs' days are numbered.
Live with it.
