1) My experience voting Democrat in TN yesterday was met with odd behavior by those working on site.
1. First stop: show ID..all good, proceed to second table.
2. Second table: (looks at voter list; spouts name) Is this your husband?
How long have you lived at this address?

2) 2nd table continued: I don’t see you on our list, please go to table three.
Table 3: Finds that I am a registered voter, hands me additional paperwork & re-checks my ID.
Place of birth mam? What state?

3) Table three continued: They made a phone call to ask if they should allow me to proceed to vote.
Voting Democrat mam?
Proceed to table 4.
Table 4: “ I will get you in a booth in just a moment; where were you born?
Takes me to booth, then stands next to me!!
Hello..privacy?!

4) What hospital were you born in? 😳
After all of that..this man tried to stand next to me and watch me vote; at first he wouldn’t leave, claiming that the machine had been having some difficulties so he was going to stand there and “help”. WTF?!

5) I informed him I was quite capable of voting without an audience and asked him to leave; I had to ask more than once. No one else was hassled like this.
Okay folks, does any of that seem normal?
Would they do this to a man?
If I was black would I have been allowed to vote?

According to the administrator for the polls, the call made while I was at the polls was to a deputy. The administrator would not give me names but by my descriptions knows who stood IN my voting booth. They will be re-trained, only one is new.

He was apologetic and offered to have me vote early in November at a different location. He also said he could not guarantee that I would be treated any better in November. I have a serious concern as to whether my vote was counted. #VoterIntimidation #VotingRights
