(1) @ishaantharoor writes a @WashingtonPost piece on returning US sanctions on #Iran.
No explanation of reasoning behind sanctions to depict an innocent image of Iran’s regime & a negative image of the Trump administration in the reader’s mind. washingtonpost.com/news/worldview…
(2) @ishaantharoor uses the phrase “renege on American commitments under the nuclear accord.”
Of course, no mentioning of #Iran’s long slate of #IranDeal violations.
(3) Here’s just one example:
“Iran has ‘violated the deal on many occasions,’ according to Albright, who outlined efforts to avoid verification requirements and exceed the limits of heavy water, another nuclear byproduct.” freebeacon.com/national-secur…
(4) Then a stance to defend the Europeans and bad old Trump stoking “tensions between the United States and its Western allies…”
Amazingly, no mentioning of how #Iran’s regime has been using Western money to fuel its belligerence & deprive the people.
(6) @ishaantharoor claims Trump’s has instigated #Iran returning to its bad practices, failing to acknowledge how this regime has constantly continued its negative approach to the West, thanks to the continued appeasement that climaxed during Obama’s tenure.
(7) @ishaantharoor cites “Farid Dehdilani, int’l affairs adviser for the Iranian Privatization Org., a government agency” who criticizes the result of US' 2016 presidential election.
Of course, a selected “adviser” won’t say anything against the interests of #Iran’s regime.
(8) @ishaantharoor then portrays the exact image #Iran’s regime wants all people to portray.
“Moreover, despite the mounting difficulties it faces, the regime is not about to crack apart.”
The writer fails to even mention the ongoing #IranProtests.
