One of my favourites is that if you have a #bees on your property you should always keep them in the know about the goings on in your house.
Also if there’s a death you should turn the hive towards the road so the bees can mourn when the hearse goes by.
#BarnOwls were often seen as bad omens. They were used to predict the weather.
However in the North it was seen as lucky to see an owl.
#Ravens are the representatives of a number of old deity’s and folk figures in British lore including Bran the Blessed from Wales and Cailleach, a witch from Scotland
Ravens also reside at the Tower of London and it’s said the nation will fall if they leave.
#magpies are a common one. The famous poem indicates what is in your future depending on the number of birds. And it is considered bad luck to not greet a magpie if it is on it’s own. They are also seen as tricksters and thieves
