Prior to the crash when I was monitoring @SeaTacAirport ATC I heard the tower talking with "Rick" who said he wanted to do barrel rolls, then indicated one of his engines was apparently going out and was advised to stay over water.
We also now can confirm two F-15 jets were scrambled in response, apparently from the Oregon Air National Guard.
