Time for a DEEP DIVE THREAD...which I'm posing as a legitimate question to @michaeldweiss : who was behind Herzen, Michael? Was it Nina?

Although Michael Weiss understand both of my questions, YOU out there on Twitter have NO idea what I'm talking about..

Who is Michael Weiss aka @michaeldweiss?

He's one of the most important and influential media figures out there.

Not just because he's an editor at @thedailybeast or an analyst at @CNN or a writer for @ForeignPolicy.

Michael Weiss wants to control what YOU see on Facebook.

Michael Weiss is also a fellow at the @AtlanticCouncil.

The whole idea of filtering news like this was really Michael Weiss's idea, as laid out in a book he co-wrote way back in 2014: Menace of Unreality:

Now, if you take a look at that link that I just posted of Michael’s book where he laid out the plan for filtering news, you’ll note that it is published by The Interpreter.

You’ll see that is a “project of the Institute for Modern Russia.”

Who runs that Institute?

The Institute of Modern Russia Is a New York-based 501(c)(3) that was started in 2010@ans is run by the son of Infamous, now exiled 1990s Russian oligarch - Mikhail Khodorkovsky.

Michael Weiss did work with them for years.

Someone asked what Weiss’s proposals were in 2014 and you can see that they have been implemented now at Facebook, such as “counter-disinformation editors.”

If you aren't familiar with the name Michael Weiss, you're familiar with his work and his friends.

For example, remember when @SenJohnMcCain went into Syria to meet with the "rebels?"

You've seen this picture.

That's Michael's friend @SoccerMouaz. I've talked about his role in promoting false info about Syria before, a lot.

That photo of Michael also shows @AndreaChalupa -- the sister of DNC Operative Alexandra Chalupa, who I've discussed before as well.

Who funds Herzen? And..is it Nina?

First, Herzen is the Herzen Foundation.

According to the Institute of Modern Russia, Weiss's The Interpreter project with stared with funding from Herzen.

"The Interpreter (interpretermag.com) was launched on May 1, 2013, by IMR and the Herzen Foundation."

This is important to YOU, in part, because eventually your tax dollars went to fund The Interpreter and Weiss.

In 2016, it became part of Radio Free Europe and Radio Liberty, for a year.

Here's what Michael Weiss said at the The Interpretaer's launch in 2013...

You'll notice he brings up The Magnitsky Act, which gives you some idea of how far back the real story of #Russiagate goes - created by Weiss, Browder, Khodorkovsky, Soros, et al.

Mikhail Khodorkovsky also started the Open Russia Club -- a tip of the hate of Soros' Open Society Foundation.

And Soros was a guest.

And this makes sense. Soros and Browder also go way back.

Khodorkovsky, Soros and Browder all have a reason to want Putin out of the way -- the billions of dollars they've made.

So they spends millions on a media blitz against Putin.

But back to the mystery of the Herzen Foundation -- the London based group that provided "seed money" to start the Interpreter.

Who are they, Michael?

Their website is gone but bringing up the archive version...doesn't show much.

Very little info.

A lot of searching -- can't find any reference to anyone who worked for them, ever.

There WAS a Herzen Foundation in 70s but it ended in 1998. And wasn't in London.

This one...like a ghost.

Or a shell foundation, hiding the tracks of whoever funded.

This London based Herzen Foundation....

It says it's part of The Charities Aid Foundation -- but that doesn't really help, because The Charities Aid Foundation is like an umbrella organization and bank for a bunch of charities.

So -- who funded Herzen?

Who was Herzen Foundation?

Was it Nina?

(Let me explain who Nina is in a minute.)

Here's why I think it MIGHT be Nina -- because The Charities Aid Foundation has a US arm: CFA America.

And it seems that CFA America was used by Nina Rosenwald as a way to fund something called the American Friends of the Henry Jackson Society.

Well, Michael was with the Henry Jackson Society in London for a few years...from 2010 to 2012, right Michael?

Just before The Interpreter started in 2013...

So did Nina Rosenwald fund Herzen, @michaeldweiss ?

Nina Rosenwald is a major funder on the Right, by the way -- supporting neocons like John Bolton....

And part of the Zionist Organization of America.

Her connections to the right MAY be why she didn't want her name on Interpreter funding.

But I don't KNOW that she's Herzen.
