I didn't realize its relevance until I mentioned it to my partner, who's a freelance journalist based in PNH, we got stunned by the amount of beans spilled by @phnompenhpost Executive EIC, Joshua Purushotman.
So apparently, we were in a place at Street 163, chilling. We heard these guys from the next table we were seated the words "Post" "Tayseng". We didn't mind at first but when this Joshua guy started to vent and air out his personal grudges to the quoted above, interest fired.
Joshua, appeared to be drunk and tactless, about how unfair the treatment of "Post". We assumed, he meant the @phnompenhpost. So there, that his responsibilities do not correspond with his pay and he's overworked but underpaid. Ironically from the EIC himself. Sounds terrible.
Speaking of EIC, he confidently told his group that whatever they see on @phnompenhpost everyday didn't pass through him. The guy's telling his title "EXECUTIVE EDITOR IN CHIEF" is just for show. Here's the more interesting part...
Joshua Purushotman, @phnompenhpost Exec EIC, said someone else is directing the editorial contents and that the alleged taking over of Prince Group (surprised this is really true), somebody on a higher position is calling the shots.
Another shocking thing... he spilled more. The owner, Ly Tayseng, is but a puppet of this "government guy" he can't name. Wanted to really approach him after but telling him what we heard might piss him off. He was called out by the management after repeating...
"f*ck Tayseng, f*ck you, Tayseng!" Because asper him, the @phnompenhpost "owner" himself cannot convince people not to leave the company. There's been a continuous exodus and Tayseng can't handle the situation. That he's treated as "dirt" (with emphasis just like how he said it)
My friends and I heard many other things. Too bad, Joshua's placed in that situation. My partner said he's a nice guy. Poor Joshua. We want to know what @SivaKum03110912, the previous owner has to say. And of course, @phnompenhpost?
