Part of the #NDNewVision, President @MBuhari initiated the take-off of the Nigerian Maritime University in Okerenkoko, Delta State.
The University was granted approval by the National Universities Commission (NUC) in Jan. 2018.
In April 2018, it commenced academic activities.
Before the NMU, Delta commenced the academic activities in April 2018, President @MBuhari approved an increase in the take-off grant allocated to the University from N2bn to N5bn, apart from an additional of N1bn in Nov. 2017 to support infrastructure works and staff recruitment.
As President @MBuhari ensured, the Nigerian Maritime University, Delta is currently enjoying all privileges accorded to other Federal Universities. #NDNewVision
This 250-seater lecture theatre hall in the Nigerian Maritime University, Okerenkoko, Delta State, built by President @MBuhari.
The University commenced its academic activities in April 2018 with a total of 196 students as pioneers.

The construction and operation of the first rail system in Africa that uses modern Chinese standards and technology. This 180km rail line that connects Abuja and Kaduna was commissioned 2 years ago at a cost of $500 million.
Today the Abuja-Kaduna rail line is functioning efficiently with no issues. Indeed, a sign that Chinese technology is world class.

The @MBuhari-led administration has since set aside $170 million seed funding for the Ogoni cleanup, the fund is being kept in an Escrow Account established for that purpose. The Escrow Agreement signing ceremony took place in April 2018.
The Ogoni cleanup project is being managed by the Ministry of Environment’s @HYPREPNigeria. Ever since its commencement, the @MBuhari-led administration has trained graduates from Ogoni who studied Environmental Science in order to enhance their capacity for the remediation work.
