1. This needs to be threaded bc the connections Broidy has directly to the Russia investigation are multiple and widespread. AND this specific new investigation is about? CHINA. You know, the other can of worms that hasn't been quite opened yet.

2. "The Justice Department is investigating whether longtime Republican fundraiser Elliott Broidy sought to sell his influence with the Trump administration by offering to deliver U.S. government actions for foreign officials in exchange for tens of millions of dollars."

3. "As part of the investigation, prosecutors are scrutinizing a plan that Broidy allegedly developed to try to persuade the Trump govt to extradite a Chinese dissident back to his home country, a move sought by Chinese President Xi Jinping, according to two of the people."

4. DoJ is also investigating "claims that Broidy sought $75 million from a Malaysian business official if the Justice Department ended its investigation of a development fund run by the Malaysian government." SEVENTY-FIVE million dollars in corruption money.

6. "In recent weeks, prosecutors with the Justice Department’s public integrity section — which examines possible political and government corruption — have sought documents related to Broidy’s business dealings." So this is an EXTRA investigation on top of Mueller's.

9. In case y'all forgot, WaPo reminds you that earlier this year, Wynn stepped down from his RNC lead fundraiser post AND from his executive role at his resort company bc OOPS, sexual misconduct. Naturally, it was Trump who chose him to serve as RNC lead fundraiser.

10. And in case you forgot the OTHER part, Broidy is the one who supposedly paid former Playmate Shera Bechard $1.6 mln to abort their love child and keep silent about the affair. And he did so via? MICHAEL COHEN of course.

11. Bechard's lawyer was? Keith Davidson of freaking course. The same one Stormy Daniels and Karen McDougal had. MCDougal AND Bechard have now accused him of colluding with Cohen to get them to sign deals, as opposed to appropriately representing them.

12. Bechard sued Broidy this past July for not paying an installment of the agreed amount of money on July 1. Broidy tried to claim he must not pay bc information of the affair is now public. Yeah, Pillsbury doughboy, that's not how this works.

13. Back to the matter at hand, everything is connected. Broidy's effort to get the Chinese exile (Mr. Guo) back to China was made via EMIRATI channels. "Broidy drafted a plan to enlist Emirati officials to pressure the United States to turn over Guo."

14. This happened after Wynn separately helped deliver a message from the Chinese govt seeking to have the Chinese exile returned to them, per WaPo. Wynn hand-delivered a letter to Trump seeking Guo's deportation, per a WSJ report earlier this year.

15. Trump OF COURSE was all too eager to help the Chinese with their wish, except senior law enforcement officials were all "NOPE, bozo." So the corruption here, or do ut des (I give you so that you give me) includes Broidy, Wynn and Trump directly.

16. To recap, Broidy is embroiled in massive corruption attempts with the UAE AND China as well as Malaysia. Plus he supposedly paid off a former Playmate to have an abortion when she got pregnant with their love child. Payment and all organized via? Cohen of course.

17. There are theories outt here, even written by NY MAG, that Broidy was just a place holder in the PLaymate thing and that was actually TRUMP's love child, but there is no evidence to support the theory (Yet, I should say, bc at this point...)

18. Broidy is under investigation BOTH by Mueller, who has asked questions about him bc he shared the memo I quoted from my March thread with NADER, who flipped so told Mueller, AND by DoJ for this separate case. Safe to say, an indictment with Broidy's name on it is LIKELY.

19. And since people like Broidy really DO NOT do well in prison, if an indictment comes, a plea deal is VERY likely to follow. With all the consequences of the case, considering all Broidy is embroiled with and all he knows. VERY bad news for Trump. #MuellerIsComing /END
