This is an EXCELLENT article that dives headlong into the topic, though the author has over idealized the liberal point of view in failing to realize that any system of global governance would in fact only breed leaders prone to absolute corruption.

Subversion means overthrowing something, like a govt or law, or it can mean corrupting someone's personal morals. The Latin root subvertere means “to turn from below,” and when you turn something on its head in a sneaky way, that's subversion.
Political Subversion (Latin subvertere: overthrow) refers to a process by which the values and principles of a system in place are contradicted or reversed, an attempt to transform the established social order and its structures of power, authority, hierarchy, and norm (social).
A Subversive (Person) is someone who is sneakily trying to undermine something, from the social structure of your high school to an entire system of government. You can use subversive as a noun or an adjective.
Think Antifa. Think Fake News. Think social media censorship. Think Democratic talking points. Think Comedians.
The problem with defining the term subversion is that there is not a single definition that is universally accepted.
Really anything short of legal Sedition or Treason could be labeled Subversion.

In that respect, even our #Qanon Truth Movement could be labeled subversive against the “established” #DeepState.
