So this girl that has been curving me for a while called last night and said she wants to come around today, knowing that I'd definitely be at home I said no wahala.
We agreed 9am and ended the call.

Grin grin grin my alarm woke me at exactly 6am today.
I cleaned my house more than I've ever done, I arranged some drinks in my fridge, checked for new movie update and downloaded some so that my Amaka would be comfortable.

I texted my Amaka few minutes past 8am and she said she just left the bathroom and would be on her way in few minutes. The joy in my heart made me rush to the bathroom like

I went straight to the kitchen after bathing and I used all my Secondary school food and nutrition skills to prepare a very nice pot of assorted noodles and accompanied it with fried eggs for my Amaka

9AM passed and no sign of My Amaka, I called and she didn't pick.
I was like ''okay e fit be traffic''

10Am, 11Am, 12Noon still My Amaka didn't answer my call and I began to panic.
Few minutes to 1pm her phone was off that was when I realized my village people has executed their plans against my successful mekwe

I was worried and kept calling but that airtel babe was just telling me '' the number you're trying to reach is switched off ''. I decided to sleep without eating hoping that my Amaka will definitely show up

Suddenly my phone rang few minutes past 3pm and It was my Amaka.
She apologized for not showing up in the morning and as a professional Menascum I said ISSOKAY. My Amaka said she's about leaving home and I'll see her in few minutes

Ladies and gentlemen, I put our assorted noodles in the microwave and sat outside waiting.
5pm and My Amaka hasn't shown up.
I became very sad

With so much sadness in my heart, I texted my Amaka on WhatsApp to know what's up and guess what her reply was

''Femi I'm so sorry I can't show up today, I'm making my Landlady's daughter's hair''
My heart ran to Aba and back to Okoko

Here I am staring at a full pot of assorted noodles and fried eggs for two plus nollywood movies.
No Amaka, no Successful Mekwe in this cold weather. What a wasted day!
My Amaka is so heartless.
