Was getting pissed with men standing in metro ladies carriage and then this 9 y/o-ish girl told them to fuck out, hehehehehe trust a #DelhiGirl :-p
Drunk asshole in pink t shirt tried to pick conversation with me few minutes ago, then I saw him fall down on the platform and he sat there for a while.
Now he's entered the ladies carriage, towards Kashmere Gate.
I did 3 different metro lines tonight, nearly 30 metro stations... & I saw men in the women's carriages at all stations, and no metro guards at any platform.
Have been on the road since 6am, returning from Haryana for work, got on the metro in Delhi because traffic bad, phone dying, hungry, tired, weak... and yet can't even get home in peace because, this is my reality.
Yes family is worried.
Walking home from metro station and realise the road is blocked by a sausage-fest of bhakti.
Men in various stages of inebriation/ bhakthi, are between me and safety.
9/ Its killing me that some woman has probably been touched or stalked back home or something worse, tonight. Feeling like shit to think that.
10/ I was amused when this happened. By the time the 5 came in and didn't leave, I realised this was more than an indiscretion.
But who understands what this felt like except us.
13/ It is unacceptable for men to be allowed to do #bhakthi at midnight, drunk, dancing, blocking road, and on to 2.30am (when I had made my 3rd complaint to @DelhiPolice and they shut the loudspeakers, I think).
14/ Police patrol guy said he shut them down once, but they clearly flouted, & I would have to make new complaint if I wanted him to come by again. It was around 2am by now.
When he shut their loudspeakers around 2.30am, he said they had permission to do "jagran" all night.
15/ Men being allowed to show their "jalwa" on the street, using God and Hinduism as a proxy, is a sexual-assault mosh-pit.
16/ Yea I got home in one piece physically last night (&many pieces mentally).
I didnt need to follow up with cops till 2.30am... but yet I did need to:
~Because women must be allowed to be on the street at any time of the night and day without fearing assault~ @BlankNoise
17/ One tweet to commemorate the drunk men in Haryana who were everywhere, including the village where I had gone for interviews (drunk by 5pm), then on the road, ramming into our car and picking fight with our driver.
Yea Im thankful to be here, tweeting to you from my bed.

3. Today began with @skochgroup declaring that only 4 women were found #meritorious, to speak on tech.
But 42 men were worthy.
They celebrated this #inequality, with a full page ad in Indian Express. #WomenInTech
