Omg, amazing experience at @RevBooksNYC just now!
Today at the #StopKavanaugh protest in Manhattan, someone from @RefuseFascism or @NYCRevClub made a connection with a gentleman in the crowd.

Not only did he travel all the way uptown to the bookstore in Harlem and buy some of Bob Avakian's books, but he was also moved to leave this testimony about how inspired he was by his experience:

"I have spent the last few years feeling growing amounts of frustration, shame, and contempt for my country and those in power. Police brutality, growing white supremacy, misogyny, and the eroding of civil liberties under the Trump/Pence administration have made me realize

that simply "Voting Blue" is not enough.

The time for waiting for others to come up with solutions is past.

The time for action has come, and the people must stand up for what is right in order to save our country from the descent into fascism.

I don't have the answers, but I want to meet and work with like-minded people to discover what they are and bring about real change."

An urgent need right now is to drive the Trump/Pence regime from power, and it's going to take millions of us out on the streets, in unrelenting peaceful protests, to do so.

Neither the Blue Wave nor the Mueller investigation will deter this fascist regime from their pestilent plans for our nation.

This regime will double down to reject the rule of law, and undermine any attempt we, the people, make to effect change through the usual channels.

It's time to wake up to the fact that the democracy and representation we are accustomed to taking for granted have been stolen from us.

We cannot expect to find redress through the selfsame broken system that burdened both our nation and the world with this fascist regime in the first place.
