FARA filings show Trump personal lawyer Michael Cohen’s attorney Stephen Ryan registered in 2017 as foreign agent for the Qatari govt & its ambassador—who was at the 2016 Trump Tower meeting the same month Cohen allegedly asked Qatar for $1M+ in exchange for Trump admin access.
Michael Cohen’s other attorney, Lanny Davis, is co-founder & partner of a firm registered as an active foreign agent for Ukrainian oligarch Dmytro Firtash—a close ally of Russian president Vladimir Putin also tied to Trump campaign chair Paul Manafort , who faces FARA charges.
In 2017, Michael Cohen was also secretly paid $400,000+ by the Ukrainian govt—w/o ever registering as a foreign agent under FARA—for a backchannel to POTUS. Ukraine's president met Trump just before its anti-corruption agency stopped probing Paul Manafort bbc.com/news/world-us-…
