= THE NEVER-ENDING STORY =

How the "Russia Investigation" was spawned 20+ years ago,
How it swamped Hillary Clinton's bid for POTUS,
How it evolved from the 90's to the current day,
How it surrounds yet is harmless to Trump,
How the Intel Community is involved.

THREAD
2) In June 2010 after a 15yr long investigation, the FBI arrested & convicted 11 covert Russian SVR agents - referred to as the "Illegals" - who were operating the largest foreign intelligence network discovered on American soil since the Cold War.
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Illegals_…
3) The SVR spelled out the purpose of the Illegals' generational presence in America in a 2009 message sent by Moscow Center which was intercepted and decrypted by the FBI:
justice.gov/sites/default/…
4) The sexy Anna Chapman initially dominated the headlines surrounding that spy ring...
abcnews.go.com/Blotter/russia…
5) I think its easy to surmise why the media was focused on Anna…
6) By 2012, BBC was doing a stylistically produced expose on the spy ring.
7) Within BBC report, FBI assistant Dir of counter-intel Frank Figliuzzi offered a bombshell: Decades long counter-intel work had to abruptly stop since, “They were getting close enough to a sitting U.S. cabinet member that we thought we could no longer allow it to continue."
8) This caused the myopically sex-obsessed media to literally make up a quote from Figliuzzi, alleging that “the glamorous Russian spy” Anna Chapman was “close to seducing” a sitting cabinet member.
telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews…
wired.com/2012/04/anna-c…
9) By the next day, US officials were having to correct the false claims and pointed to another SVR agent named in the indictments, Cynthia Murphy.
abcnews.go.com/Blotter/russia…
10) Cynthia Murphy was a female Russian sleeper agent posing as an American accountant by using the stolen identity of a deceased American child. Cynthia, and her ‘dead double’ identity was actually detailed extensively by BBC. Again, see here:
11) Murphy in 2009 had burrowed her way into the employ of a major Democratic donor/fundraiser. The fundraiser was Alan Patricof & the target & sitting US Cabinet member was Hillary Clinton at Department of State.
thehill.com/policy/nationa…
12) The 2010 FBI affidavit shows Murphy & Moscow Center discussing the account with Patricof as major breakthrough via intercepted electronic communications...
justice.gov/sites/default/…
13) … and also show some of the specific taskings related to State Department.
justice.gov/sites/default/…
14) Here’s Figliuzzi one more time for clarity, as contrasted against Hillary’s claims in 2010, and recent denials to even speak on the subject in 2017.
thehill.com/policy/nationa…
abcnews.go.com/Blotter/russia…
15) You’d think that one of the most important U.S. counterintelligence stings in history (admittedly cut short due to SVR proximity to HRC at DoS) might receive a LITTLE more scrutiny considering the timing of Bubba’s $500k check and call from Putin..
foxnews.com/politics/2017/…
16) … and also considering just some of the other ISSUES surrounding the Clintons and Russia at the time.
thehill.com/policy/nationa…
17) Michael Waller does a good job of summarizing the issues surrounding the events in 2010 while also raising several salient questions. I urge you to absorb them before moving on... 🤔
dailycaller.com/2017/10/20/hil…
18) Because while the MEDIA dropped the Russian Spy-Ring story as soon as it was irreparably and hopelessly connected to the Clintons, the FBI was only just getting started...
19) Behind the public charade of “returning Russian spies” & “closing down” the investigation, FBI was covertly honing in on even larger SVR targets which had been identified within the network, namely Russian diplomats IGOR SPORYSHEV, & VICTOR PODOBNYY.
justice.gov/sites/default/…
20) The FBI would outdo itself in the case following the Illegals’ arrest by going after even bigger targets (diplomats) using even wilder surveillance techniques: clandestine recordings obtained WITHIN THE “SECURE” NYC SVR HEADQUARTERS.
justice.gov/sites/default/…
21) Obtaining recordings from WITHIN the secure SVR headquarters in NYC is and was a intelligence coup of the highest order. The entire Russian HQ itself is a SCIF (Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility) supposedly safe from FBI electronic eavesdropping.
22) How was FBI able to penetrate “secure” SVR HQ? The affidavit details 3 agents careful about electronic comms. The NOC (non official cover) Buryakov would pass analog info to diplomatic cover agents Sporyshev/Podobny who had access to HQ to transmit secure messages to Russia.
23) SVR agents had “walked into a FBI trap”, wherein Russians were tricked into trying to recruit a FBI “dangle” who then passed wired binders that were taken inside/out of the SVR headquarters to obtain sensitive recordings.
abcnews.go.com/International/…
justice.gov/usao-sdny/pr/e…
24) Interestingly, the FBI affidavit makes no mention of how the SVR HQ recordings were obtained, nor any mention of an FBI asset/”dangle” subject to recruitment. The only significant target of recruitment within the Buryakov indictment is listed as a simple witness, “Male-1”.
25) This simple witness “Male-1” would later be infamously outted in April of 2017 as Carter Page.

26) In recruitment of @carterwpage, SVR agents discuss:
1) Conversations w/Page via email in Russian
2) Page travelling to Russia “more often” than the agents
3) Millions of dollars in operational outlays for “enthusiastic” Page
4) Attempts to obtain valuable documents from Page
27) Considering depth of recruitment details & associations Page had w/SVR in 2013 (dwarfing anything he did in 2016) it might be germane to now ask WHY he wasn’t placed under FISA surveillance AT THAT TIME?

How do we know he wasn't?
28) It would've been disclosed in his 2016 FISA applications, by law.
29) Perhaps the FBI had reason to trust simple-witness Carter Page. Perhaps the FBI was aware of his background as a midshipman from the Naval Academy who participated in the distinguished graduate TRIDENT SCHOLAR PROGRAM...

30) Or perhaps the FBI was aware of Page’s work as a MILITARY INTELLIGENCE OFFICER for a UN peacekeeping mission in Morocco that won him a prized international affairs fellowship w/the Council on Foreign Relations.
charlotteobserver.com/news/politics-…
31) Whatever the REASON for FBI trusting Page, & whether or not it had anything to do w/his lifelong home in MILITARY INTELLIGENCE, & whether or not it WAS PAGE who passed the hot BINDERS (not 'information') to SVR agents, one fact remains undisputed…
abcnews.go.com/Politics/trump…
32) Chronological accounting of Buryakov affidavit shows SVR HQ recordings ONLY EXIST precisely within EXACT time-frame of Page’s involvement in the case (Jan-June 2013). Likewise NO such recordings exist ANYWHERE OUTSIDE of Page’s involvement in the case. justice.gov/sites/default/…
33) Further background on simple-witness @carterwpage, his military-intelligence background, and his highly proactive role in #Spygate detailed here:
34) After military-intel asset Carter Page’s debriefing by FBI, all SVR recordings cease. All chronological activity detailed in the case also goes cold for 9mos. Due to Carter’s work, the FBI already has unprecedented evidence. But the FBI was still not finished with the case…
35) Some rare calls involving diplomat IGOR SPORYSHEV speaking on open lines to non-official-cover BURYAKOV were made in April 2014. Such calls were a severe breach in operational security that led to FBI discovering the SVR cell was feverish about “economic sanctions” on Russia.
36) Armed w/the knowledge of the SVR interest in sanctions, a new plan was hatched. Now the FBI had the angle with which to enter a 2nd daring phase of the operation. (h/t to @DawsonSField)

37) As set forth below, commencing in the Summer of 2014, the SVR agent met several times w/a FBI Confidential Source (CS-1) posing as a REPRESENTATIVE of a WEALTHY BUSINESSMAN looking to DEVELOP CASINOS WITH RUSSIAN BANKS. One guess who the CS-1 was “representing”. 🤔
38) A flurry of activity began late July and lasted thru late August. What was going on around that time? Only one week prior on July 12th Donald Trump publicly announced he would close his Atlantic City Casino by Sept 15 without buyer or expansion plans.
pressofatlanticcity.com/news/breaking/…
39) Ten days after the public funding crisis is intentionally disclosed the FBI CS-1 contacts Buryakov presumably out-of-the-blue via phone & email. Operative Buryakov already senses “some sort of a set up”, a “trap of some sort”...
justice.gov/sites/default/…
40) Nevertheless, SPORYSHEV acting as Buryakov’s SVR handler, “permitted” the meeting. Why put field agent at risk despite his better instincts? Again, it was the “associate” and/or wealthy developer of casinos CS-1 was “representing” that was of interest.
abcnews.go.com/International/…
41) On July 25 2014, a FBI CS-1 posing as a representative for Trump met with agent Buryakov at his VneshEconomBank (VEB) office & explained Trump was interested in developing casinos in Russia. The CS invited the SVR agent to his office in Atlantic City.
42) On August 8, the CS took SVR agent Buryakov on a 7hr tour of casinos in Atlantic City. He gave a powerpoint presentation in his office. He introduced the subject of “sanctions” & also presented Buryakov w/purported classified information relating to sanctioned Russians.
43) Three weeks later, the CS met again with Buryakov, passing him additional, purportedly classified documents regarding sanctions on Russian banks, entrapping the SVR agent into yet another documented act by FBI.
justice.gov/sites/default/…
44) So who is this CS-1, able to pose as a “representative” of Trump? Who also had the stones to con SVR agents for 7hrs while wearing a wire? Who also was able adequately explain a made-up scheme to finance developments using sanctioned Russian banks? 🤔
45) Without making any allegations, I’d like you to turn you attention to one Felix Sater.

46) Unlike the demure “Male-1” government “witness” Carter Page, “Confidential Source” Felix Sater is (now) an openly acknowledged, decades long, multi-agency, undercover-operator "Supreme" for the Federal Government.
buzzfeednews.com/article/anthon…
47) Its hard to emphasize the richness of Sater’s life. A best-selling book *will* be written on this man. It’s mind boggling. Here are some of his first missions, at 30 years old, after being cold-approached by the Defense Intelligence Agency.
48) While Sater was developing intel overseas for DIA in 1998, at home FBI was asking questions about his past. After failing to pay dues on a storage unit in NYC, authorities were alerted to evidence tying Sater to a stock fraud w Italian/Russian mob. archive.is/xypKS
49) Sater was facing charges of securities fraud, money laundering, tax evasion, felony threats, & unlawful possession of firearms.
docketalarm.com/cases/New_York…
50) After Sater was located by FBI, he turned himself in without a fight. Always on the hustle, Felix had just obtained his TRUMP CARD from an Afghan intelligence officer: 5 sat-phone numbers belonging to Bin Laden that he would use to help broker a deal.
buzzfeednews.com/article/anthon…
51) On December 10, 1998, Felix Sater pleaded guilty to a racketeering charge pursuant to a cooperation agreement w/the FBI. Sater was facing 20 years imprisonment and $60 million in restitution to numerous victims.
docketalarm.com/cases/New_York…
52) In lieu of Sater’s deal, FBI agreed to drop all heretofore disclosed crimes in exchange for a single RICO charge. FBI also agreed to defer sentencing for a period of 10 years during Sater’s “cooperation”, after which a reduced sentence would be possible, but not guaranteed.
53) The Supervising US Attorney overseeing Felix Sater’s 1998 cooperation agreement was Andrew Weissmann, current lead prosecutor of the Mueller Probe.
motherjones.com/politics/2017/…
54) With no guarantee of reduced sentence, Sater had motivation to produce for the Feds. And produce he did. In 2000 his cooperation secured Loretta Lynch the conviction of 19 high-ranking members of the Sicilian Mafia.
documentcloud.org/documents/4406…
55) Post 9/11, Sater reported results of coalition bombings, kills on battlefield, financial networks behind the 9/11 bombers & other al-Qaeda members globally, and more...
buzzfeednews.com/article/anthon…
56) In 2002 Felix Sater reported that jihadists were hiding in a hut outside Bagram Air Base planning to shoot down Powell’s plane during a January 2002 visit to Afghanistan.
57) In 2004, Felix Sater persuaded a source in Russia’s foreign military intelligence to hand over the name and photographs of a North Korean military operative who was purchasing equipment to build the country’s nuclear arsenal.
58) In 2005, Felix Sater went undercover in Cyprus & Istanbul to catch Russian and Ukrainian cybercriminals. Sater posed as a money launderer to help nab the suspects for washing funds stolen from US financial institutions.
59) Over Sater’s 10 years of cooperation he ended up providing so much valuable information to multiple U.S. intelligence agencies across so many jurisdictions, he earned the code-name “The Quarterback”
60) Said a top intelligence official working directly on terror cases before & after 9/11, “Felix likely does not realize how important his work has been in saving American lives. Sater deserves a commendation.”
61) Felix *has* reportedly received commendation. His Rabbi explains how he was invited to a closed-door meeting at the Federal Building in NY, where dozens of US intelligence community members from multiple agencies praised Sater in a private ceremony.
62) 11 years after he started cooperating, Sater headed to a federal courthouse in Brooklyn in October 2009 for his sentencing in the stock fraud scheme. Two federal prosecutors (one later becoming a Senator) & 4 FBI agents showed up to vouch for him.
c10.nrostatic.com/sites/default/…
63) For the multi-million scheme for which Sater was facing statutory penalties of 20 years imprisonment and $60 million in restitution to victims, he was sentenced to zero days confinement and fined $25,000.
64) @felixsater cooperates with FBI & DOJ to the present day, per testimony to House Intel Committee. He doesn't disclose details, except to say he works on “international matters.” 2 US officials confirmed Sater continues to be a reliable asset.
archive.is/UheR4
65) Everyone still following? Great. Because the Never-Ending Story only gets MORE interesting from here... 🤔
66) Even more fantastic than Felix Sater’s exploits as a 20+year military intelligence asset are the extraordinary feats the Government has employed to legally protect their agent. These actions span a decade and run all the way to the US Supreme Court.
miamiherald.com/latest-news/ar…
67) It began in May 2010 when a former partner filed a RICO complaint against Sater & other defendants. Attached to the complaint were exhibits & explicit references to sealed materials from Sater’s prior criminal case & cooperation agreement.
68) In the suit, it was being alleged that Sater, after pleading to the initial RICO scheme of 93-98, turned around and ran an even larger RICO scheme from 02-07, all while moonlighting as an undercover intelligence asset.
narcosphere.narconews.com/userfiles/70/L…
69) The same Judge Glasser who presided over Sater’s secret prior RICO case was assigned the new RICO case. He immediately issued a permanent injunction against the dissemination/use of Sater’s prior case details within the new Bayrock suit.
gpo.gov/fdsys/pkg/USCO…
70) The hearings to seal were conducted ex-parte, & when petitioners sought to introduce evidence Judge Glasser threatened quasi-criminal sanctions for “vexatious litigation” & held the submissions inadmissible. c10.nrostatic.com/sites/default/… (p.38)
71) The secrecy order was immediately appealed. Representing the Government was Loretta Lynch. Representing Sater were two colleagues of Lynch from the Eastern District US Attorney’s office, appearing as personal attorneys for Felix Sater. 🤔
documentcloud.org/documents/4406…
72) Appellate courts upheld the secrecy order, appointing a Special Master to oversee its enforcement. In addition, the Orders themselves discussing the specific reasons for continued sealing were issued under seal, and remain under seal to this day.
gpo.gov/fdsys/pkg/USCO…
73) With the secrecy order upheld by the appellate courts, Sater moved the special master Judge for contempt sanctions in 2012.
gpo.gov/fdsys/pkg/USCO…
74) Agreeing with Sater, the special master asked the Justice Department multiple times to pursue criminal contempt charges against the attorneys suing Sater. Strangely, every time, local federal prosecutors recused themselves over unspecified conflicts.🤔
sandiegouniontribune.com/sdut-judge-wan…
75) After waiting years for criminal sanctions that never came, miring the case for years 2013-2015, the racketeering suit then resumes in a labyrinth of motions until settlement in February of 2018.
bloomberg.com/news/articles/…
76) In the meantime, Kriss’ attorneys would also file a case with the US supreme court in 2014. And while the case definitely contains some fascinating questions of law...
c10.nrostatic.com/sites/default/…
77) … the Kriss attorneys again leverage the filing as a vehicle to circumvent sealing orders precluding the public from learning about Sater. They use the SCOTUS filing to introduce scandalous accusations.
78) Kriss attorneys also file a qui tam case in 2015, committing further abuse of process upon the courts which cause the case to be dismissed. But not without the intended publicity.
iapps.courts.state.ny.us/nyscef/ViewDoc…
businessinsider.com/felix-sater-ta…
79) There are enough fascinating questions of law surrounding Felix Sater, and more specifically the Second Circuit, to fill a volume. Legal Beagles like my friends @Techno_Fog & @Barnes_Law can feast to your heart's content here:
archive.is/4Hw68
azcentral.com/story/news/loc…
80) Despite gov efforts to keep a legal lid on its relations w/Sater, by Feb 2015 the disclosures and efforts by 2 attorneys had breached the media at large & reached the Senate.
judiciary.senate.gov/imo/media/doc/… (p. 142)
81) In mid 2015 Trump announced his bid for the presidency. Media interest into any and all Trump associates motivated the AP and various other parties to aggressively file for unsealing of Sater’s prior secret conviction.
sandiegouniontribune.com/sdut-judge-wan…
82) After inauguration in 2017, the coordinated effort to unseat Trump only intensified, and with it, scrutiny into Felix Sater.
archive.is/vXVFq
archive.fo/QLviS
83) Frothing media interest in 2017 would eventually cause the original Special Master to recuse/appoint another, who would eventually rule in favor or unsealing several documents on 2/10/18.
scribd.com/document/37122…
washingtonpress.com/2018/02/10/fed…
84) The Feb 2018 unsealing caused Felix Sater to move and “get ahead of the story”, as detailed to Cuomo here in March.
85) The result was the Buzzfeed expose where Sater granted Cormier & Leopold a month of exclusive interviews. In exchange for access, a positive media piece was timed to publish at the same time his confidential case details were being unsealed. 🤔
buzzfeednews.com/article/anthon…
86) The Buzzfeed expose is published on Monday (03/12/18), and by week’s end Felix Sater has gone on a media orgy, taping 4 prime-time interviews in 2 days. Again, there was Cuomo w/CNN on 03/16…
87) Chris Hayes w/MSNBC on 03/16…
88) George Stephanopoulos w/ABC on 03/16...
89) Jesse Watters w/FOX on 03/17…
90) Now that we’ve established Felix Sater’s bonafides and the government’s fierce protection, its time to take the long view and recap everything in the Never-Ending Story thus far:
91) 11 SVR agent’s arrested/deported in ILLEGAL’S case after getting to close to Clinton. The FBI continued into the BURYAKOV case resulting in arrest of 3 more SVR agents. In Buryakov, the FBI used Trump associates Page/Sater as assets.
92) Let us now meditate on at least 9 astronomically unlikely coincidences, or findings of fact, that bind Carter Page & Felix Sater (and ONLY Page/Sater), the two assumed assets operative in Buryakov:
93) I of IX: Both Carter Page & Felix Sater worked for Military Intelligence. The military work was initial, and preceded their later work with FBI.

94) II of IX: Both Carter Page & Felix Sater have then done work for FBI that was directly responsible for conviction of Russian foreign agents.

95) III of IX: Both Carter Page & Felix Sater’s “work” for FBI has been “verified”/acknowledged by the Federal Government.

96) IV of IX: Both Carter Page & Felix Sater went on one-man media-tour of interviews, purportedly in their own limited self-interest, immediately after being outed as Federal assets of the highest order.

97) V of IX: Both Carter Page & Felix Sater’s identities are protected at great expense by the Federal government.

98) VI of IX: Both Carter Page & Felix Sater have been entangled in “secret court” proceedings, the fog of which allows extra-judicial, clandestine executive operations.
99) VII of IX: Both Carter Page & Felix Sater are rarified ‘associates’ of Trump whilst also maintaining direct physical operational proximity to Trump and Trump Tower.

abc.net.au/news/2018-06-0…
100) VIII of IX: Both Carter Page & Felix Sater initially appeared & CONTINUE TO REMAIN the strongest connections to actual “Russian collusion” surrounding Trump, despite the media having grown weary of said connections after knowledge of their ‘cooperation’. 🤔
101) IX of IX: Both Carter Page & Felix Sater are ‘coincidentally’ at the heart of #CrossfireHurricane, both have been interviewed by Mueller, & neither look anywhere close to catching charges.
102) And if you think the coincidental military intelligence backgrounds, the government protection, the associations to Trump, & the manifest 'innocence' of these two spooky characters is wild, believe me when I tell you this Never-Ending Story ONLY GETS BETTER... 🤔 (cont.)

Hey @carterwpage can you confirm/deny association w Trump campaign by Jan 2016 as alleged by ABC today? Second & more significantly, when interviewed by FBI for closure of Buryakov case in March, can you confirm/deny FBI spoke to you ONLY re: Buryakov?👍

Gowdy didn't follow up, so that's why I'm asking for clarity: Did FBI actually ASK you questions anywhere outside scope of your prior involvement w/Buryakov conspirators? Or was this strictly a debriefing for closure of Buryakov case? What was 'nature' of meeting in your memory?
I'm asking, because quite frankly, I'm tired of FBI & compliant media characterizing this "meeting" in March as evidence of active FBI probe into you existing PRIOR to your July Russia visit & subsequent 'reporting'. Your testimony stands in direct contrast to such inferences.
