Something to consider about this bill.
“The law criminalizes misrepresentation of a caregiver's experiences and qualifications to help ensure children

are in safe hands."
This fact, all too often, will only be found out after the fact, the damage will be done.

As it is, I would think parents do reference checks before hiring a nanny, if the person has lied before, they will again.
This is yet another reason why we need

a violent felon registry, this puts the power in the hands of the people, for their safety and for the safety of their children.
Too often in #domesticviolence cases, children are involved.
According to the Childhood Domestic Violence Assoc. 5 million children witness

domestic violence each year in the US
1. How many people will even be able to afford a nanny each year?
2. How many people will form an intimate relationship, many involving children?
I'm pretty sure you will find no. 2 to have a much

higher percentage rate.
For the sake of our children and loved ones, all across the board, we need this registry of violent offenders. If a bulleted list is needed to show who would fall under "violent felon", then so be it, one can be created to legally fit under what

is termed “violent felon”

Unlike the sex offender registry, the way the bill is written right now, the max. amount of time for registering would be 10 years for the worst offense. Levels 2 & 1 would depend on the severity

of their crime and determined by a board created by the sponsor of the bill. #BrittanysLaw
