Tweet from June 2017. The police and fire rescue are at the same house (my next door neighbor) for another suspected overdose. She is alive and seems to be ok now. We have GOT to do something about this problem. These people are suffering from a serious addiction. 1)
I do NOT have the answer. But I do know that we need better health care and mental health options for these people. 2)
It seems @realDonaldTrump wants to have a fight about weed when what we really need to address are the substances that are actually killing our folks in massive numbers. 3)
What I do know is cutting health care and mental health benefits for these folks is not the answer. So, vote Blue in November. #BlueWave2018 end)

NEW: According to Rasor, the FBI still has yet to reach out to her, so she gave a sworn affidavit and released it publicly so that the information could be available to anyone on the Senate Judicial Committee. 1) rawstory.com/2018/10/kavana…
“In or around 1988 in the context of the conversation we had about how we lost our virginities. Mark told me in a voice that seemed to convey a degree of shame about an incident that had occurred a few years prior 2)
where he and several other boys from Georgetown Prep took turns having sex with a woman who was drunk.” 3)
I have some thoughts on this letter about “beach week” written by Bart O’Kavanaugh. I attended the same “beach week” (we called it senior week) in 1989. What is stated in the letter is true from my experience. 1)
High school seniors across the region celebrated their high school graduation with a week in Ocean City, MD away from their parents. It was like a rite of passage. (I’m sure some high school kids went every summer, but for many of us, we could only afford the senior week) 2)
Because it was such a rowdy, drunk fest, there were only certain hotels/realtors who would rent to you during that week. You had to plan way in advance and get one of the coveted spots that actually would rent to you. Even then, most places required a parent’s name to reserve. 3)
Very credible sources have tweeted the link to this transcript. But, it is not found when you search the official committee website. I wonder why? 🤔 1)
You see this @MichaelAvenatti ?
from Kavanaugh's 2015 speech , "Three classmates of mine at Georgetown Prep were graduates of this law school in 1990 and are really, really good friends of mine: Mike Bidwill, Don Urgo, and Phil Merkle." 1)
And they were good friends of mine then and are still good friends of mine as recently as this weekend, when we were all on email together. But fortunately we had a good saying that we've held firm to to this day, 2)
as the dean was reminding me before the talk, which is, 'What happens at Georgetown Prep stays at Georgetown Prep.' That's been a good thing for all of us, I think." 3) dailykos.com/stories/2018/9…
A lot of women now in their 40s and 50s, who went to these single-sex D.C. prep schools in the 1980s, have been reaching out to each other in fraught emails and chats over the past week. 1) slate.com/human-interest…
I don’t personally know Ford now, and I didn’t know her in high school. But as the Holton women wrote, what Ford is alleging is “all too consistent with what we heard and lived while attending Holton. Many of us are survivors ourselves.” 2)
And what Elizabeth Rasor alleges Mark Judge told her is not foreign to me, either. 3)
➡️Last week, during his confirmation hearing, Judge Brett Kavanaugh refused to commit to recusing himself in the event he was confirmed and a case involving the investigation of Mr. Trump were to reach the Supreme Court.
➡️ He took this position despite the fact that his strong views in favor of presidential immunity are outside the legal mainstream and he was chosen by Mr. Trump during known inquiries into the conduct of the president and his campaign. This is wrong.
