Who are Urban Naxals?
For any cause, there are 4 main paths that can be taken to seek justice and to assert one's rights.
3 of these paths are constitutional. The 4th is not.

Path 1: satyagraha, civil movement's, protests, civil disobedience etc.

E.g. Gandhi's salt satyagraha.

Path 2: judicial activism. Here One approaches the courts asserting ones rights and seeking Justice.

E.g. Gandhi's champaran satyagraha. @pbhushan1's PIL's etc.

Path 3: electoral activism, where you seek to win elections with the goal of bringing change.

E.g. Gandhi's Congress party.

Both @AamAadmiParty and @BJP4India promised to walk this path but failed to deliver.

The 4th and final path is that of violence. Militancy, maoism, insurgency etc.

Gandhi never walked this path!
He still demanded justice for those who walked this path, e.g. Savarkar, Bhagat Singh etc.

But he neither advocated it nor walked on this path.

Ignoramuses like @vivekagnihotri and arundhati Roy fail to understand the difference between those who follow peaceful and those who follow violent path.
One calls the former #urbanNaxals, the other calls the latter Gandhi's with guns.

So urbanNaxals is a tag used to discredit those who fight for social justice using peaceful constitutional methods!
