Political neophytes don’t quite understand the rules of engagement in politics. First of all it is no indictment on your NGO for anyone to declare their political intention at the event. People shutdown cities for this & it should be considered a privilege that this happened here

Anyone who chooses to indict you for this is either ignorant or simply vindictive. It was glaring you were blindsided and a disclaimer is in order without the need for emotional expression disappointment. Your event didn’t hold at the Stadium so I doubt if it is about your clout.

You have other interractions coming with other political parties & there may be more surprises in the wait. I understand however the feeling of disenfranchisement of the ruling party & hope this disclaimer cures their anxiety. I only stopped by to say this kind of things happen.

The #NotTooYoungToRun is known to be non partisan and it is applauded by most of youthful Nigerians regardless of party afflictions. This shouldn’t stain or stagnate your traction. You endorsed no one. Move on and inform Nigerians of your next program. Cheers

I don’t have a fan, never had, never will. We all reserve the right to change the man we were 5 minutes ago. We vote in this part based on the options available and the inevitable consequences that lay in wait afterwards. There is no ideology & no basis to make a religion of this

The current admin had made claims to some of our contributions as their achievement and we welcome this. HE @MBuhari is the president of all, even if he doesn’t express or affirm this in his actions. Any achievement under his admin will be recorded against his tenure/Regime.

Does that make the successful advocacies under his admin a partisan one? Does that mean an automatic endorsement of his candidacy? We should be more focused on Nigeria and the future when these identity politics of hate eventually fades. This is just my free advice.

Once elections have been won by any candidate all political rivalry must be tamed in the interest of the generality and the progress of the nation. At this point in our polity we need not allow ignorant political hirelings dumb down your narratives. Keep your focus. 👍🏼

Those familiar with events will tell you that when you invite political juggernauts to your event, you must expect them to use it as a vehicle to express pressing matters outside the event proper. Does that mean that the organizers of the event colluded or are partisan?

If an Obasanjo or Prof Osinbajo attends any event, it is an opportunity express and address some socio-political issues off the topic. They do this religiously since the history of our democracy. You don’t see people releasing disclaimers afterwards. It’s part of the game.
