I doubt if we have the time to trend #EndTaskForce especially in Lagos @PoliceNG @PoliceNG_PCRRU we won’t want to further demoralize our stretched officers making a living. Kindly caution CSP Yinka Egbeyemi who Suprintends over the oppressive criminal syndicate at OshodiTaskForce

I mentioned this in passing to the #PoliceReform #SARSOverhaul subcommittee/monitoring team in the southwest as led by Distinguished ACP @YomiShogunle who has been commendably dutiful of late. The TaskForce is anachronistic and belongs to the military dark days.

We will no longer sit back and allow home grown terrorist abduct indiscriminately our youth for ransom. This has become a troubling trend that must end this week. Oshodi has become notorious for racketeering as engineered by the leadership in collusion with Lagos thugs.

We can not pay lip service to Reforms while this is unexposed. We owe it to the people to expose cancerous nodes in the system and CSP Yinka Egbeyemi is one. I wonder why HE @AkinwunmiAmbode is allowing this to happen under his watch. This is tyranny and criminal.

Just yesterday, a young struggling man under obvious economic depression was forced out from this dilapidated vehicle with his 6yr old child at the middle of the night for stepping on the BRT line in traffic at Mile 12. His car keys were wrestled off his hands & the repossessed.

The thugs recruited by Egbeyemi’s TaskForce drove the car to an abandoned site/park in Agric Ikorodu by a popular filling station where criminal racketeering is religiously perpetuated. A ticket of N70,000 was issued with room for negotiation for lesser cash ransom.

The car by the way if auctioned can never sell for N25k. The poor man was forced to sleep outside in a shelter overnight with his 6yr old ward because his house keys were lumped with his repossessed car keys. The touts insisted that he must proceed to OSHODI or settle them.

I was visiting my mum’s estate in the community and got a call from one of the people in the community traumatized by this development, so I decided to make an inquiry and what I gathered depressed me even further. These touts live large with a gory sense of entitlement.

While fielding questions, we got wind of a ghastly accident that claimed the life of one of Egbeyemi’s touts, who in the cause of oppressing motorist and taking over their vehicles got smashed by a truck. This news didn’t even Cause a stir in remorse. This has become a culture.

How can we chant “Èkó Ò Ní Bàjé O” (Lagos will not retrogress) and yet culture a cancerous hub of despair in the expectation of a miraculous progress? How can ordinary citizens with no clout be this oppressed while we look the other way? Is it all about the money?

This is my second time of calling CSP Yinka Egbeyemi out on his oppressive racketeering at the expense of innocent citizens of Lagos. Illegal raid is still on the rise and this must stop effective immediately. @PoliceNGLagos or the people will rise.

We hereby demand the immediate closure of the illegal pack and criminal hideout at the agric Ikorodu park until further notice. TaskForce idea is already outdated. This is a democracy and the will of the people must stand. Enough of the oppression. #EndTaskForce

CSP Egbeyemi is a close pal to the Governor of Lagos state and has taken a position in his mind with the gods of the land that can never be questioned. Even the Commissioner of Police dare not address him. This is why we have to escalate this anomaly to the IGP/Presidency.

A formal complaint has been sent via the office of the DIG & we will update you. Egbeyemi and his supporting political structures are not higher than the laws of Nigeria. He can always resign from the police and become a full time thug of the Governor. This madness ends today!

Information reaching me reveals that about 15 cars have been released from the notorious park in Ikorodu upon the N35k payment in cash per car to Egbeyemi’s touts running the racket in the area. Is this governance @followlasg @AkinwunmiAmbode ? What message does this send? 🤔

There may not be any hope for second term for the governor at this rate if this is not addressed effective immediately because this MUST and Will not Continue in Lagos. No one is more Lagosian than people born, bred and raised in Lagos. This culture will not Live!

This is Armed Robbery and Kidnapping backed by the State and due for F-SARS Raid. Anything short of this is hypocrisy and we might as well legalize armed robbery and indiscriminate abduction while the citizenry arm and protect themselves. This MUST not continue.

Can we still boldly say that the Progress Of Lagos is our Priority with the culture of impunity as endorsed by the State? 🤔

The Lagos State Task Force is made up of several units Mobile Police, Police etc and headed by Police. They are not the only ones culpable. The Magistrates Of Oshodi Mobile Court are complicit as well and must be investigated and arraigned for Armed Robbery and Abduction.

Egbeyemi on his virtual throne is laughing as an untouchable claiming this is Propaganda and we will show him the will of the people. He can assume he is bigger than the law of the land all he wants but this madness ends now. #EndTaskForce

We have a comprehensive database on their activities going 3years, how every innocent citizen abducted by taskforce is summarily charged by a corrupt magistrate at the Mobile court for Breach of Peace and slammed with N50k-N80k fine. The Disabled are not spared. #EndTaskForce
